Absolutely incredible stay! This place was spotless, everything was very clean and in full working order. The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful! The bed was super comfy and we got a great night’s sleep after traveling all day. Breakfast was great and everything was well stocked. Check in and out process was super easy and very convenient. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

My family and I stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott in Athens, Georgia on Saturday, August 30th, and had a terrible experience. Around 2 AM, we woke up to find our air conditioning unit blowing heat. The wall unit would not shut off, and the room quickly reached close to 100°. I had to physically unplug it from the wall just to stop it. This wasn’t just inconvenient—it was unsafe. Myself, my father, and my children were in the room, all of us stuck in the heat. The maintenance worker, Sean, came up and was very apologetic, promising we would be compensated for the situation. Since then, I’ve spent five days trying to reach the manager, Adi, who is apparently always “in a meeting, at lunch, or out of the building.” Not once has she returned my calls. The lack of accountability and follow-up is extremely disappointing. Guests should not have to chase management down for days after such a serious issue. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone based on my experience.

We stayed here during a huge storm and the hotel lost power. The back up generators did not work and it tempers were high. We were so impressed at the manager and her staff. They were calm and courteous in spite of not being able to help …

Nice hotel and convenient to where we needed to go during our trip to Athens, GA. The rooms were nice, and fresh. Everything smelled good from the sheets to the towels. The bathroom was nice and spacious. The breakfast was ok. It was the exact same the two days we were there except we had sausage patties one day and bacon another. The hotel seemed to have a lot of parking but it would fill up fast during the early evening which made us worry we would not find any.

2nd year staying here, but not as good as last year. Pool needed to be cleaned(floor of pool was slimey), never saw house cleaning the entire time I was here (trying to get extra towels without going down stairs). Breakfast was just meh.. 2nd day a little better than the first, but it was free so really can't complain, but last year's was great.

The Good: Nice hotel. Comfortable beds. Room and common areas very clean. Price was good. The Not-So-Good: Although hotel occupancy seemed low, we were given a 2nd floor room overlooking the hotel’s dumpsters which, starting at 6 AM and lasting 45 minutes, were subjected to a very loud series of dumpings into a very loud garbage truck. Noise on the local road is not bad, but the hotel must be on the path to a local hospital as we heard multiple sirens passing through the night. Finally, and the most egregious of my experience, the “free” breakfast was, candidly, not edible.

Arrived on Saturday. Stayed 3 nights. Check in was quick and easy. We had the king suite room with sofa bed, which looked just like the picture on the website. Hotel is well maintained. Room was nice and clean. Shower was wonderful with …

Went there for a couples days and never saw a room attendant to exchange towels or remove trash. Front desk employee was nice and check in was a breeze. It is $20 a night for incidental coverage. Hotel has basic stuff in case you forgot a toothbrush (I did) and has guest laundry as well. Plenty of parking and if you ride a motorcycle, they allowed us to park under the awning. Also has a parking garage as well.

I had a home emergency and needed a place to stay for the night, and the staff were very accommodating. The location was close to my work and the room was fantastic. Best sleep I've had in a while. The hotel and staff made a stressful day a lot easier.

The hotel was exceptionally clean! We were very happy with the breakfast and our entire stay. The parking situation is also very convenient! I would highly recommend this hotel for a convenient stay where you can expect lots extras for a very reasonable price.
