On Nov 12,2024 my husband wanted to take me out for our anniversary and since we are new in Commerce Georgia, he didn't know where to go. He searched in Google about gozy restaurants in Ethans and he found De Palma's Italian restaurant. We get there @6 pm and we enjoy a nice quiet dinner. The service was great, and very profetional. The food was delisioso! I asked for the food not too be to spice and they did a great job with the season, the food was delisious but my favorite dish was the 12 mini mash rooms fell with spinish and cheez, I have to mension that all the food was great. I liked the portions of the food. Oh!! My mango sorbet,as a desert was Muto bueno👌 . Thank you, I highly recommend De Palma's Italian restaurant in Ethans Gargia.

The best Pork Marsala I’ve ever had. Great little Italian Cafe. Just the right size for a cozy meal. Our server Tyler was exceptional and personable.

Best pizza I have found since leaving NY. Consistently good and the cocktails are amazing. Nothing better then a date night with my husband at DePalmas east side at the bar

The food at DePalma's is always spot-on. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The combination of that amazing, authentic Italian cooking and her perfect service is the reason we're already planning our next trip back! Thank you, Nicky!

The Eastside location has gone downhill over the last few years and it's a bummer, because the menu rules. The service is always stellar. However, there's a seeming lack of quality control in the kitchen. The pasta is never al dente anymore and is sometimes even overcooked and mushy. Everything has become underseasoned (maybe old people complained, I don't know). The house bread, one of my favorite things about coming here, just seems to have less love than it once did- I can't put my finger on exactly what's wrong with it. It feels like the owner and/or chef aren't really paying attention to what's happening in their kitchen at this point, and it's difficult to justify spending $70 after tip for what has become a mediocre Italian-American dinner.

Came here for the first time and since I’m new to Athens I wanted to try a cozy place instead of some boring fast food joint. I was not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed the experience with the two other people I went with. The staff are friendly and well organised, we even got to our 1:30pm reservation a little bit early. The food is great, I absolutely love the way they made the chicken bake sandwich and the ravioli looked delicious. The only real issue we had was with the olive oil vinegar dip, which was a bit underwhelming. I’m definitely coming back the next time I’m hankering for Italian food and I’m in the area. 10/10, would recommend.

Please note IF YOU DONT LIKE your food option, take no more than one bite before letting your waiter/waitress know. If you take more than one bite you will be confronted by the manager (I’m assuming the manager - he never even told me his name or title…HOW RUDE), who will villainize you for wanting to swap for something you’d actually like. Thanks to him, I will never try anything new at this establishment and will stick to what I normally order (that is if I still decide to support this business). Wanted to try a healthier option today and unfortunately did not like what I ordered. Took only a few bites, notified my waitress and was then confronted by this manager. He asked what was wrong and I informed him….why does the Palento look a toasted grilled cheese sandwich…he tells me it’s firm. Okay sir. Asked if I can swap for something else and he tells me “next time only take one bite”. Everything else after that is a blur because I was trying to stop myself from saying what I really wanted to say.

Our favorite "fancy date" and Italian place. It is a little too "peopley" inside for our ideal atmosphere, but the food has always been amazing and the service is almost always really good. We have never ordered something that wasn't delicious.

Relaxed atmosphere and scrumptious Italian American food at an affordable price. Excellent bar offerings.Recommend Grilled Salmon especially salad; table bread, pizza, fettuccine, lasagna or any daily specials. Gelato or Zuppa Inglese for dessert.

The pictures I could not add: stuffed mushrooms (they were so good) and so was the bread. We did love our waitress. She was very nice and made me feel welcomed (which can’t be said for the rest of the workers). The only two major complaints we have are: 1.) Being made to feel as if we walk around with freaking flies in our pockets and dump them in our drinks. The waitress shared my lack of wanting to get another sprite and or a free dessert (the manager bluntly said “oh, I don’t know how that happened we keep all our doors closed… well, Mr. Manager, apparently not because a freaking dead fly ended up in my drink and I didn’t notice until I saw something floating in my drink). Instead of owning the mistake, he instead offered a free dessert (which don’t get me wrong, if I had my appetite, I probably would’ve took him up in that. But, honestly who would want a free dessert after finding a fly in a drink they were drinking on?). 2.) My noodles were over cooked (and didn’t have sauce all over them.. the plate you barely see in the first picture, is the plate I used to remove the overcooked noodles.)
