Dance FX is fantastic . I am in my 50s and danced when I was a child. After my own kids left for college I wanted to try a new activity and started taking Natalie’s beginner salsa class . I can’t even tell you how bad I was at first . It was embarrassing. I had never done partner dancing and had no rhythm. I stepped on the leads feet and went right when I was supposed to go left. It was very difficult and not very fun at first. But after about 3 classes I could do it. It became more and more fun and now I just love dancing. I have been going weekly for about 2 years now and I am completely addicted. The small accomplishments are rewarding and I catch myself looking forward to the Tuesday classes the weekend before ! I have recruited several friends and even my husband started going. I am completely hooked. Now I am definitely lacking some of the style the other dancers have. But that’s ok! I have fun, get exercise and I can do it ! My advice to you is to try it ! And definitely go to several classes ( not just one) before deciding if you like it or not. Thank you Natalie for being an amazing teacher ❤️

Dancefx is truly a gem in downtown Athens. The variety of classes in all abilities really cater to the needs of the town. Every class I have tried has been fun and a great workout! All of the choreographers and instructors are friendly and they really want you to have an enjoyable experience while improving your dancing abilities. Support dancing and go try a class!! You'll have a great time!

LOVE LOVE LOVE dancing here. It has been a great outlet for me for many years. All of the staff members make you feel welcome and at home. I would highly recommend to anyone no matter what level of dancer you are!

The classes are very friendly for adult beginners. All of the instructors take the time to explain choreography and give individual corrections for technique. A very supportive and extremely fun atmosphere for dancers of any age and experience level! I also highly recommend DanceFX Training Company!! It's a great way to challenge yourself (I promise it's not too scary) and really get to know the wonderful folks in the Athens dance community.

DanceFX really follows their mission-to offer all kinds of dance to all kinds of people of all ages. They have everything from ballet to contemporary to burlesque for youth and adults. The staff and instructors are personable and friendly and really go out of their way for their students. Great studio!

After 10+ years of not dancing I decided it was time to become more physically active so I googled dance studios in Athens and found Dancefx. I have been with them now for a little over 3 years and I have loved every second of it. Some of my best friends are people I met at Dancefx. The staff is wonderful and there are so many options and class variations that anyone at any age can find a style that works for them. Whether you want to jump start a career in dance or you just want to get some fun exercise in, I recommend Dancfex to everyone :)
