First time ever walking into Cozy was last night which right before we were about to order drinks the girls in the group needed to use the restroom. Mind you this whole time upon entrance this place is smelling absolutely RANCID. Like sewer. But anyways we get out of the restroom and the guys in our group tell us that the bartender said if we don’t order drinks she will call the cops as we used the restroom and need to do so (buy drinks) in order to avoid police coming. There is absolutely no sign stating that, but regardless we were going to order until the bartender started yelling at us to buy a drink or get the cops called on us for trespassing. This is NOT how you treat potential customers. Will definitely NOT be returning.

Two people celebrated their birthdays in Cozy bar tonight however they treated us terribly and we’ll never be returning. The bartenders were incredibly rude to the both of us and ruined our birthday experiences. Avoid this bar, it’s the worst!!!!

They used to be great, but new staff is horrible. So rude and disrespectful and total scammers!!! They have a sign that explicitly says “free karaoke after drink purchase. $1 karaoke otherwise” and they charged over $5 for a singular song and then kicked us out after we said their sign says differently. Total scammers. Never going here again.

Bartender stole money from me. I found a $20 bill on the ground and the bartender took it out of my hand and said that someone will “find it later.” Dude is keeping that for sure.

This is one of my favorite places in Athens. Mama cozy and Kingsley are the best and make you feel so loved. The live music there is crazy good and the sake bombs are addictive. I recommend this bar to everyone!!

Just tried to do karaoke but they charged $7 even though it said $1 on the signs inside. Bartenders were very rude and caused 9 people to leave. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Absolutely rubbish
