As a professional truck driver, I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels, but this one really stood out. Parking was a big plus — there was ample space for my semi-truck (without the trailer), which immediately took the stress out of my stop. …

We stayed here because my kid had an early morning soccer game at a local field (10 minutes away). The room was just okay. It was clean, smelled good, and was semi-comfortable. Nonetheless one of the room keys did not work & the pivot hing was damaged and ready to fall off (at lest it functioned and the door locked). There is one elevator it works but is a bit small. Similarly, the breakfast bar had limited choices and seating. Ultimately this is a decent place to stay in Athens. My biggest criticism concerns the price (we stayed on a Saturday night, following a UGA football game). The cost for a single night's stay was $550.00. Way to much for what was on offer! A bit of price gouging in my opinion. At a different this could be a nice place to stay.

When we checked in we found the only nice employee, outside of her most seemed like you were bugging them. We had a mess up with our reservation along with others, sounds like they need a system upgrade. The room was fair at best. Needs tlc bad. Mattress so thin and hard, not sure how you count their pillows as pillows, loose toilet seat. Several regular maintenance issues that appear to be ignored. Could hear traffic all night and the people above rearranging furniture. The breakfast is not good unless you want cereal. I have stayed at other country inns and this is a slap in their faces. The kitchen/cleaning ladies sitting in the breakfast area talking loudly across the room. They are not nice, rude and yelling in Spanish. The location is not good, there was a broken window on the hotel. Limited walking options for dining. Worst yet is that they are allowed to upcharge so bad for a game. Do your self a favor and go on down the road.

Convenient and reasonable but some things aren’t up to par. Toilet wouldn’t work. Wouldn’t fill up with water to flush. …

My wife and I visited Athens Georgia and unfortunately our Airbnb reservations were not ready as planned do to double booking by the host. However , we decided to get a room here which was a very big mistake. The sheets were extremely dirty along with the room and bathrooms. The receptionist at the desk seemed to be understanding while offering us another option or available room. We decided would like to speak with a manager, well the manager stated she has been working there for over 10 years and she personally keeps all the rooms clean. I asked her if she would like to see our room just to validate our complaint and she refuse to. She was extremely unprofessional and made racist statements that was not only inappropriate but at best racially sensitive. We plan to take actions against management and seeking legal counsel which we are confident we would have her terminated from her position. We are devastated that our children had to experience her hate and racial slurs. We plan to contact cooperate with our complaint very soon and inform them she is more of a liability to the company than an asset. This hotel was disgusting and it deserves better management

Hottub in advertising is cemented over. Vents full of mold. Housekeeping was nice enough to leave me new soap, and the soap of the guest before us. Ants came down from the light fixture to enjoy the complimentary check-in cookie.
