I don't know why I keep trying to give this location a chance. When it first opened things seemed better than the other Athens location. The last few times they have been very skimpy (kind of the Chipotle norm). Today on Valentines day we decided we didn't want to sit down somewhere so we came by. Door is locked with all of the staff sitting inside eating. Sign says lobby closed. 4 people sitting there. Open for 3 more hours. Won't even address people as they walk up. I'm writing this review from the parking lot and so far 5 people have just left. Hopefully management can work with this crew and maybe this location can come back to what it was when it opened.

The customer service was horrible. My husband and I ordered the steak bowls and I literally couldn’t find the steak in my bowl at all. The prices were expensive too and I don’t feel I got my money worth. We ordered two steak bowls, two bags of chips, and two izze drinks and our total was close to $40. Very disappointing with the taste of the bell pepper and onion mixture for some reason they had a sweetness to it.

Okay overall. I just didn't like how messy it was wrapped and juices from the salsa were dripping out of the wrap. It even dripped out of the bag and onto my seats in the car. Paying $30 plus, I expect a little more.

This is my go to for a quick dinner that’s a little healthier option than burgers and fries. The portions are always the exact same for the burrito bowls. The food is always fresh and always the right consistency. The portions are filling and I cannot finish it all in one sitting. I know that both dinner and the next day’s lunch will be covered with one bowl. I always use the pickup window, so I cannot attest to the atmosphere or the inside, but the staff at the window are always friendly and prompt with no wait. This will stay at the top of my list of options.

I haven’t wanted to go to a Chipotle because of all the trouble with food poisoning they have had as a chain in the past. My very first visit and I can tell you, they are not long for another case. I have worked in both the fast food service and as a restaurant manager so I truly understand how necessary it is to keep a place clean. This place was nasty. Food everywhere, on the counter, on every single table, over flowing trash. The wrapper on my food even had some sort of food smeared on the outside. There was an employee, probably on his break, sitting down on the phone. Yes, breaks are needed, but it looks to me like the entire staff had been on break for hours. My food was also sub par, granted, I may have been swayed by the state of the restaurant, but grissle was in every bite of steak. My husband and son have loved Chipotle, but had normally gotten the food to-go. My husband said after seeing the state of this restaurant, he will not be going back.

Stale chips do not buy them! The cheese looked like long strands of spaghetti, hardly any chicken at all, didn't taste good and no ice/ broken ice machine. Things have certainly changed. hopefully it's just this location and not the others. We will not be back!

I didn’t even make it halfway through my bowl before I ran out of meat. I asked for half steak and half chicken but only got about 4/5 small pieces of steak and half a scoop of chicken. The steak was so minimal that the person putting the toppings on thought it was a chicken only bowl. I’ve had better from here. It’s too expensive to take a chance on it being done correctly or not.
