Ordered Sesame Chicken combo and was pretty happy with what I got. The chicken had good flavor, but was maybe a bit sweet. The texture was good though. The egg roll was not great. It was crunchy, but the vegetables were not very fresh, and I could definitely taste that, so I would pass next time. The fried rice was solid 7.5/10. It did its job but wasn't anything special. The restaurant looked pretty clean and my food was ready within 10 minutes. Overall a pretty average experience for this kind of thing. For the price it's not bad at all but I am going to see what other Chinese spots in Athens offer.

This has been by far the worst Chinese food that we have ever had. We ordered items that are typical staples in any Chinese restaurant; szechuan and sesame chicken with an order of crab rangoons. The chicken dishes we practically flavorless, which is incredibly difficult to do in Asian cuisine, yet they managed to accomplish the unimaginable. Meanwhile, the crab rangoons were right on par with the entrees. With the exception that they tasted only of cream cheese. Having been loyal customers of Athens Wok, this was such a huge disappointment and waste of money.

I want to start off by saying that several months ago, this place used to be the best Chinese place in Athens to me, of course! Lately, they have gone down hill tremendously. The food is OLD( NOT FRESH), and the quantity has dropped significantly. My house rice had 3 of the tiniest shrimps known to man. There was no pork and 1 or 2 strips of chicken. My sesame chicken was OLD. The breading was mushy. I got the lunch special and they didn't bother to give me my soup but maybe it was for the best! I will NOT be eating here again! I can't afford to waste money nowadays.

Have been eating here regularly for the past couple of years and of late, the quality of entrees has really gone down. Had the Szechuan Beef today and although it tasted really bland, what bothered me was that there was actually very little beef and lots of veggies in the dish most of which just tasted rancid.

The Singapore Mei Fun is amazing. Fresh ingredients. Noodles with the perfect texture/consistency. Not too spicy and not too mild. I was surprised.

I recently moved to Athens and have been searching for takeout closer to me. This place is only 5 minutes away, perfectly priced, and delicious. It satisfied my Chinese takeout craving perfectly and I have no complaints at all.

We placed an order for Shrimp Egg Foo Young, via Door Dash. The patties have "cocktail shrimp"! They no longer prepare your order with standard size, (we weren't expecting jumbo shrimp), but definitely NOT cocktail size (baby shrimp). This is unacceptable and disappointing. In the past, China 1's food was enjoyable.
