We came during the week when it wasn't as crowded and it was a nice experience. Visit the cool donkeys. Beautiful winery with many places to sit and enjoy the wine. We will visit again!

Cabin 6 is adorable! It overlooks the creek. We saw deer daily. Even saw a buck one morning! We enjoyed the hanging swing and gas grill on the back porch. Loved the gas fireplace! It was nice to have a kitchen for cooking breakfast and some dinners. Cozy and comfortable!

My little family and I recently stayed in Cabin 5, and we enjoyed our visit very much! The minute we walked into the door we felt relaxed and at home. From the website I wasn’t really sure what to expect, and booked our visit based on reviews, but the cabin and area around it far exceeded my expectations. It had just enough of a rustic feel with multiple ways to keep the cabin warm and cozy. We liked that the bathroom was totally separate from the bedroom. The bedroom was spacious with a queen size bed(so comfy) and a little sitting chair paired with a lamp and lamp stand. The kitchen was small but fully equipped. Very helpful with a little one in tow! There is a small flat screen TV(not shown on website pics) and they do have WiFi. We purchased extra paper towels and trash bags to bring, but found we had enough for our stay with what was provided! We loved reading through the guest books, and really appreciated that this property is family owned and locally managed. Julie the property manager was easy to work with, and we would give her our business again! The only con for us is there wasn’t a washer/dryer on site to our knowledge. Obviously we could find a laundry mat in town in a pinch, but access to one on property would be nice! The area around the creek and pond was beautiful and well kept, even in winter. Looking forward to our next visit someday!

From the decor to the view of the front porch, it is absolutely breathtaking. Very cozy, private, quiet, and the most beautiful place I have ever been to. I enjoyed the fishing pond, and listening to nature. The cabin was well stocked with the essential items you may need. I loved being there so much, I wanted to cry when we left. I highly recommend this cabin. It you want a peaceful, beautiful place to spend some time, this is for you. Thank you so much for the time of our lives.

I have stayed at Cavender Creek Several times over the past years and have always hat a great stay. The cabins have that pine smell and great sounds of Frogs and crickets while your sitting on the porch at night. I like the Loft in the one cabin the best. Kinda makes you feel like a kid again and that is always fun. The owners are great folks with your best interest in mind. They like the same kinda things you do so it makes it easy to provide a great stay.

We spent our honeymoon at Cavender Creek 20 years ago so we decided to come back for our anniversary. We stayed in cabin 9. I wish I could leave a better review. The towels were old, dingy, and hard. The toilet paper and paper towels were cheap and rough. The bed was absolutely the worst I’ve ever slept on and the futon was hard as a rock. The jacuzzi barely got hot. Everything was cheap and outdated. Very disappointed in our stay. Hopefully, the other cabins are nicer.

This is my happy place in Georgia mountains. If you want to decompress and enjoy peace and quiet and reconnect with nature while staying in a beautifully quaint and lovely mountain cabin- then this is your place. Shut the world out and off and just be. You will love it and yearn to keep going back. I promise you. Don’t forget to enter your visit and joy about the cabin in their journal. Each cabin has one in it and it is a great way to log your visit, read what others wrote and look back on your previous notes. Enjoy! D&S W

We were looking for just a couple of days to get away. I found this place and it seemed cozy enough. I can't say enough about this place it was quaint and cozy the hot tub was great we got there went and got groceries and never left til check out. It rained on the second day, and we just sat on the porch while it rained and just relaxed the day away. I had everything we needed there at our disposal. Only cons were when I went to make coffee there was grounds already in there that had been there a min even the filter was mildewed. I just made sure I cleaned it out well before I used it, and the other was the grill was filthy we decided not to use that. And couldn't fish really well for the pond is extremely full of moss that's all we caught LOL. I will still HIGHLY recommend this place, for it is off the beaten path and has horseshoes and picnic area for campfires etc., and the creek is fabulous that runs through the grounds. I walked most of the trails saw a mama deer and her babies drinking from the creek, very nice will go back.

Another great find on our traveling adventure. Cavender Creek Cabins are the absolute best. Julie is so attentive and kind. She asked questions about our needs. The little things that matter, like plenty of towels, coffee waiting for us and the comfort of the cabins. Ours was the best! Right over the pond with plenty of fish to watch and a crane who hangs out. These cabins are an absolute must in Dahlonega, GA. We will be back and often!
