We visited Oct 19-21 and enjoyed how quiet the campgrounds were. We reserved online and didn’t realize most resort activities are closed. Pools drained and Land Shark restaurant open Thurs to Sun. Game Stop was open in evening and had restaurant that was expensive. Don’t get desserts. Very high prices for an ok dessert. Sandwiches very good. E-bikes got used constantly and we had blast biking all over the islands. We have 45’ Brinkley 5th wheel attached to Ram diesel 3500 Duelly, we navigated turns ok but did have to go over curbs to enter our spot. Husband was truck driver years ago so we had no problem but we did scout ahead of time. What was a huge concern was the concrete drive through spot #34 exit end is located partway up a steep grade we had to go immediately left on it then almost immediately a very sharp turn right and rear of RV scraped the ground. Be careful and go slow. Know how to back up without hesitation to get out of tight spots. Coming into our spot our rear right leveler hit ground hard because of grade but wasn’t damaged. Honestly as a civil engineer all they had to do is make driveway and road radiuses bigger and more gradual. Next time we will go to older gravel camp area. More spacious to maneuver and very pretty with heavy tree cover. If you have Starlink it would be useless in this older rv area. Many spots may be a challenge to level. Reviews are very informative. So look for reviews of specific spots. Our Lakeview spot really wasn’t. A sliver of lake could be seen looking over and through other campsites. Overall we enjoyed our stay and got a few days rest before we headed to mountains.

We camped in the RV resort and the sites are amazing. Well maintained and nice large sites on the water. We brought our boat which we brought up behind our site such a lovely area. Many activities and wonderful places to Bike and swim they have a waterpark attached to the resort. Very wooded area, making it a real delight for campers. We will be back for sure.

Large campground and campground resort! The drive in was very beautiful. You see plenty of water and the golf course. The campground itself is located further back. The sites on Parrot Rd were very nice, level, concrete. There’s a very clean bathhouse with one large shower. Some outside games near by. A drink cart comes by daily. There’s a huge game arcade building. Super nice! Fireworks when we came memorial weekend. The amazing water park of course. Totally worth it! Must stay!

Pros. Great location and Great views. If you stay in the gravel lots plenty of trees and shade. Cons. Have been to all 3 MV rv resorts in the SE and this is the least favorite. No resort pools or play grounds which doesn't make any sense for a RESORT. the water park is ok but for the price you can just go to a actual Waterpark in your area. The beach pass they give you is only good for the wave pool and good luck finding a chair. The beach area is useless as you can't go in the water. Also once the park closes at 7 nothing else to do unless you go to the arcade. Really disappointed in the lack of resort exclusive facilities. Bathhouse were clean and really nice but the showers had zero hooks for towels or cloth but do provide soap.

We absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to go back. We’re already planning our next trip. The staff were very nice and knowledgeable about the park. They worked with us to make sure we were more than happy. We did the waterpark and the Game Changer. The kids (and adults) loved the rides and the splash pad at the water park. The Game Changer had a deal for unlimited games for $20. The kids were in heaven. Our campsite was right on the lake and had a breathtaking view!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at Camp Margaritaville RV Resort at Lake Lanier in October and had an excellent experience. Our site in the Sea Plane Section was level, shaded, and provided full hookups with ample room for our 36-foot fifth wheel and truck. The area was well maintained, featuring new picnic tables and paved main loop roads. The staff was friendly and professional, providing a thorough overview of the campground and its amenities at check-in. We especially appreciated the wooded setting of the Sea Plane Section, which offered a traditional camping atmosphere with shade and generous space between sites. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and look forward to returning in the future.

I grew up across the lake at Shoals Creek in a tent. It was bitter sweet to take my family in our RV for the first time celebrating Father's Day and my birthday. Check-in seemed pretty crazy when everyone showed up at 2 pm to check in. Let me start by saying that having a golf cart is a must, but they were out, so we did have the opritunity to rent from another golf cart company. There is a shuttle, but they do not have air-condition. I wish there was a pool for the camping community. I am happy we learned the area when we first got there. I love that we received 4 Fins Up passes per day. The bathrooms were super clean. It was nice having Game Changers to get out of the heat. There was a golf cart that came around from 4pm-10pm selling adult beverages. Eddie & Wanda were my favorite golf cart bartenders. Overall, we would love to come back.

We've stayed at the Margaritaville RV resort at Lanier Island several times. It's clean and well maintained. Our last trip here was the week of July 4th. Site 98. It was a great site and quite private compared to others. However, I don't think I'll stay on a holiday week again. As our site overlooked the lake, on the 4th, we had lots of people walking in our site area to survey the lake. You can have dinner delivered to your site from one of the restaurants if desired. They also have a margarita cart that comes around every evening. And recently they've added a Game building with lots of activities and a bar and dinner. It reminds me of a Dave& Buster's. The Cobb salad was amazing. And they offer Bingo some days of the week as well. Plenty of activities to do in the park, including a water park, Beach area, gaming activities, and just nature in general. Depending on your site and time of year, the price varies from about $75 to $200. They also have little cabins for rent. The sun sets here are beautiful.

Glamping tent review and campground- the glamping tent was very nice! It's a 2 bedroom tent with a bathroom and has an AC, and a little kitchen and table, canvas walls & ceiling outside. The views and deck were the best part though! Amazing!! Could have sat out there all day! Loved watching the boats in the morning with my coffee, and relaxing out there in the evening with the sunset view! Another Pro- pretty close to a beach where we put in our kayaks and hung out all day. Tip- Rent or bring a golf cart! It's pretty spread out. There are not Any amenities here yet unless you want to go to the huge water park. Worth it to rent one! A sign did say pool and other amenities coming in 2024. Cons - it's really close to the other glamping tent (there are only 2 now). It's not that the neighbors were exceptionally loud, but we could hear everything- baby crying at 6 am, coughing during the night, every word of them hanging out on their deck late into the night. We also had a very loud raccoon (we think it was a raccoon?) Scratching and digging on the ceiling early one morning! A little nervous that it was going to come through the ceiling! Over all a fun time though! The older section with the 150s & 160s and the cabins and glamping tents, is really nice. The newer section seemed really cramped and many of them didn't have a view. But to stay here in your camper and bring your boat and wave runner and toys, could be a great spot since it's close to Holiday boat marina. Also, the beverage cart girls were super nice!! Yummy drinks for parents and Shirley temples for the kids! Happy Camping!

One of the best rv resorts we have been to! Everything was so clean and the people were nice. We were very surprised how clean the restrooms were. The cleanest restrooms in an RV park that we've been to! Being able to rent golf carts is such a perk as well. It was so nice not having to get in a car everytime we wanted to go somewhere and the kids loved riding in the golf carts as well! The water park was clean and enjoyable as well! It will be nice when they put in the playground next year as well. But overall we loved everything about this park and can't wait to come back!
