My daughter moved out of her apartment at Cambridge in July of 2025. We have been trying to get our deposit back ever since. Since I co-signed on the lease, a message was left on my phone in September asking for an address to send the deposit. All my attempts to call back have resulted in no answer of the phone. We sent two certified letters with the address, and still no response. This seems like a dishonest attempt to not return deposits.

Can't beat the place for the price you pay . Management and maintenance crew are great . They always resolve the issues even with the red tape they have to go through to get it done. Grounds are kept up weekly and the pool is always clean and relaxing . You do see a roach or two sometimes but as long as you keep your place clean and throw traps, it not really an issue . Not many 40 year old buildings in Georgia you won't see them. Great place for a great value .

While the rent was decent for a one-bedroom in Athens ($900-1,000), the issues were overwhelming and traumatic: poor insulation, water leaks, a persistent bug infestation, bad cell service, and a constant musty basement smell. I dealt with bugs for over 4 months—despite weekly spraying, they kept coming back. I even found live ones in sealed boxes after deep-cleaning my kitchen. I dreaded touching anything that had been sitting for too long. When they finally did bug bomb my apartment, they left the dead bugs absolutely everywhere. While the staff was friendly, my complaints felt ignored. I am honestly still traumatized after moving out, and would file for psychological distress if I could afford it. I would absolutely not recommend this place.

Maintenance is an actual joke. We begged for help for a month and never once did they attempt to help us. The bugs were absolutely awful, even tho "they have a bug company that comes and sprays weekly". Better not have anything important at the end of the month, they'll be helpless infants while they "wait for the system to do its monthly reboot". An actual joke of a complex.

Walk around the complex. It could be a candidate for worst kept up apartment complex on the East side of Athens. Tires, gas cans, no grass, peeling paint, trash littering the grounds curtains hanging from porches...they do trim the bushes...hopefully the rent is cheap. Lots of stores nearby. That's what the 1 star is for...

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with the Management at Cambridge especially Nick Reilly. He has helped me from day one and made me feel supported as a resident. Anytime something needed a repair it was fixed within 24 hours. It’s really hard to find rentals that have great management and Cambridge has that. I especially love the pool when it’s summer. I’m only moving because of a job relocations, but residents have lived here for years. Also-unlike many rentals in Athens-on day one my apartment was spotless and ready just to move in. Thanks Nick and team!

WE CANNOT GET OUT OF OUR APARTMENT BECAUSE THE DOORKNOB IS BROKEN!!!! WE HAVE HAD A TICKET OPEN SINCE THE 4TH OF JULY AND NEED IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE! THE ISSUE HAS GOTTEN WORSE AND WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO OPEN THE DOOR! PLEASE HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! -- Like for real, bro... I crawled out my window this morning.

If I can give this place a 0 star I most definitely will this place is filthy and dirty and nasty. I was giving an infested unit full of roaches I contact the leasing office I spoken to Nick and Brian several times The first day I moved in, I had said something I was told I I will be transferred to a different unit. I was told this back in October 20 24 and it is now going onto April 2025. I’ve been having this problem for seven months and they have did nothing but make up excuses and lie. The roaches have been in my bed all over the kitchen and the living room. And the tubs and the cabinets in my TV and all my furniture and in my dresser and my kids dresser so now everything I worked so hard for I have to To get rid of, they’ve been in my and my children’s clothes, they dropped in the tub while I was bathing my child We we seen A couple pregnant ones, and a roach actually getting busy with another roach me and my child both is very traumatized. This is nasty and disgusting. one even dropped in my hair while I was watching TV. They have also ended up in my food several times, even dropped in my food while I was cooking There was a roach crawling on me. I am very disgusted every time I email them, it gets ignored when I go into the office they come up with a lot of excuses. They’ve been coming up with excuses for seven months now and nothing has been done or resolved. I was giving A infested unit like this and they knew they knew the unit was infested that’s why the previous people moved out and they knew that was the reason why it’s still giving me a infested unit and there’s so much more save yourself money and go somewhere else do not lease here you will have to throw out of of your things I can’t kill them all, but I kill at least 40 a day everywhere you look you see a lot of of them this is no way anybody should live. This is inhabitable living condition. and there is no hiding from them because they are literally everywhere there’s babies there is pregnant ones and one’s about to give birth. There has been times where they gave birth in my pots and pans, and all my plates and silverware roaches carry bacteria and infections they even have babies on my bed.

The application process was so easy because of manager Nick Reilly! He guided me through the process step-by-step. He communicated with me and kept me up to date to ensure that I was able to apply for the apartment I wanted. Nick is very professional and has a good rapport with potential applicants! When I came to tour the complex, Nick was who I initially spoke to, and he is the reason I wanted to sign a lease here! For an easy move-in transition Cambridge Apartments and Nick Reilly is definitely your best bet!

Loved living here. Brian kept the place running like a machine. The very few work orders I did have were taken care of that very day. If you are looking for a apartment in Athens look no farther!
