I moved in today at the Bulldog crossing apartment. The property manager- LaShay White was so so kind to me. Since my flight was late, I entered the city at late night, and would have had nowhere to go if Ma'am didn't go to great lengths to ensure I received the key, and could move in late at night. I am really grateful to her, and the room is also extremely nice. So yes, I do recommend Bulldog crossing if you are looking for good apartments at a low cost.

I’m in a graduate program and really didn’t want to spend a fortune on rent while also juggling research and teaching. Bulldog Crossing is way cheaper than other places, and the setup is ideal for focusing. Big rooms, fast Wi-Fi, and not noisy like other student complexes.

Spoke with Ms Lashae several times; she was very sweet, and patient with me. My parents loved her when I came in to tour and even though I didn't choose this location, she suggested different properties for me to tour. My parents wanted me to move here just because of her, lol!

As a grad student at UGA, I needed a place that was quiet, affordable, and close to campus without all the chaos of undergrad party spots. Bulldog Crossing has been perfect. My rent is super reasonable, I get my own bathroom, and I actually have space to breathe.

Honestly, Bulldog Crossing has been a great deal. My rent is way cheaper than my friends', and I still get my own private bathroom (huge win). The place isn’t flashy, no rooftop pool or anything, but I’d rather save hundreds every month. Management used to be bad (heard horror stories), but new staff is super responsive now

After graduating from Athens Tech, I got a job locally and didn’t see any reason to leave Bulldog Crossing. My apartment is way more affordable than most places in town, and I still have more space than friends paying double. It’s quiet, convenient, and just makes sense.

My daughter is a nursing student and we couldn't be happier with her apartment. Safe, affordable, and bigger than the other overpriced places around UGA. Bulldog Crossing may not have a lazy river but they have solid Wi-Fi and nice study spaces. That's what matters

I’ve been out of UGA for a year and still live here. I considered moving to one of the newer places, but they’re overpriced and full of loud parties. Bulldog Crossing is low-key, easy to deal with, and doesn’t crush my budget.

As someone working full-time now, I appreciate how simple and stress-free it is living here. I don’t need the extra amenities—I just want a clean space, private bathroom, and rent that lets me save money. Bulldog Crossing still checks all those boxes post-college.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. While some reviews mention improvements after a management change, my experience was completely different. For reference, I lived here from August 2024 to December 2024. From day one, multiple electrical outlets in my apartment didn’t work—and despite repeated requests, they were never fixed. The building also has a severe roach infestation. I caught at least 15 roaches while moving in, and on any given day, I saw at least 5-10 of them. According to maintenance staff, Bulldog Crossing stopped pest control services 2-3 summers ago. I initially thought the issue was due to being on the first floor, but my friend who lived on the second floor had the same problem. The plumbing issues were even worse. From August to September, I couldn’t use my kitchen or bathroom due to severe water leaks. The paint was peeling from the ceiling, and water was pouring down. Management refused to relocate me or offer any alternative solutions. Despite their website claiming to have after-hours maintenance, no such service was available and management was consistently unresponsive. It took them over a half month to fix the issue. In October, I had no water for a week due to a broken pipe. In November, another water leak soaked my bedroom carpet with brown water, causing the wall moldings to bend. Management’s "solution" was to provide a dehumidifier. From mid-November until I moved out, the heating system stopped working. Instead of fixing it, they gave me a tiny space heater to heat the entire apartment (photo attached). Yes, this apartment is cheaper than others (for a reason), but the unlivable conditions and complete lack of management responsibility make it absolutely not worth it. Stay away. Oh also, it's been over a month since I moved out, but they haven't given my security deposit back.
