Great staff. 5 hour river kayak ride. Take sunblock! Water and snacks. Lots of spots to stop for a break and have a picnic.

Such a great place!! Went here on a weekday and it was so much fun! Everything was very easy and convenient. We took the lower river experience with the rapids and enjoyed it so much. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. We had a lot of fun relaxing and kayaking the rapids on some of the faster parts. Saw tons of wildlife and nature. Definitely recommend Broad River Outpost!

My friend and I were the only people on the river on an August Monday. BRO staff was helpful and not overbearing. Very chill. Not unattractive, I must say. We were here last in 1990. We won’t wait another 35 years next time!

Loved it. The only issue for us is the changing rooms and bathroom. Large group, one bathroom, and the changing room had a lot of spiders. I changed in the car. A great atmosphere, great prices. The staff were awesome. We are already planning to go back. Also! They had a portion of the river that is kid friendly (we had 2 in our group)

Great experience. Far price for a 4+ hr adventure. Pack a lunch and at least half a gallon of water per person. Bring a dry bag and a hard waterproof box for your phone wallet and keys. STRAP everything down tightly, you will loose stuff if not.

I go every year in the summer. 5 stars for service. A laid back all day float on ocean kayaks. (Hard plastic, sit on top). Chill and friendly staff provide kayak, life jackets, and paddles, and transportation drop off or pick up. They have singles and tandem kayaks. Upper half is more chill than lower half. The river itself is 3-4 stars, depending on what you are looking for. There’s too much trash along the river. The rapids are class 1, which is great or disappointing depending on your style. Peak season, you need a reservation so they don’t sell out.
