The staff was friendly, the building was immaculately clean, and the biscuits hit the spot!! The grilled porkchop biscuit, oh man, it is worth going back just for that.

Although the place was very busy. Our experience was very nice. When we ordered our food ,it came out within a respectful time. When i went over my order, I saw that mine was missing a few items. So I went back to the counter and told them that my breakfast sandwich was missing the egg and cheese. Agean, this place was very busy. Within a few seconds, I was given a new breakfast sandwich . They were very polite about what happened and to add when I ored my breakfast meal. I orederd the grits to replace the hashbrown nuggets you get. BUT I got the nugget things anyway with no charge to my order. Those little nugget things are AMAZING...this was my first time at this restaurant, and it was a good experience. Although the place was getting very busy. I'll definitely come back .

Great food and customer service! I usually order through the drive thru but they’re always friendly and quick! We love the family meals

Absolute worst. Should have stayed closed tbh. Paid for 8 piece meal - got 5 wings, 2 thighs and a leg. For almost $40. Guess they were too busy swearing and laughing to actually service the customer. And of course - why call? It just goes to a full voicemail. To the owners - DO BETTER.

Food is amazing. Crispiest and juiciest chicken ever and was very fresh. Staff is chill, but left out sauce fries, and my fork. If the service saw improvement this place would be 5 stars.

I was excited that this place reopened, but as I write this i have been sitting in the drive through line for over 30 minutes. I got to the window, paid, then 5 mines later a different lady came to the window and asked what we ordered... that was odd since they knew exactly how much to charge me when I pulled up. Then she walks off yelling to somebody to ask if they had enough chicken to cover an 8 piece family meal. There are 4 cars behind me. If you don't even have 8 pieces of chicken ready, sister you ain't got nothing. Then I was asked to pull up and wait as they were dropping more chicken in the cookers and it has been almost 25 minutes since then. Never again. Can't even review the food cuz we haven't gotten it yet. This drive through experience has been absolutely abysmal. Final times. 1:20pm order, 1:35 pay, 2:12 finally got food. Almost. One. Hour. For a drive through... We had a toddler in the car for God's sake.

Went here on Saturday, 9-27-25 around 2pm. Ordered the 12 piece meal. Took forever to order, long wait and then the order was wrong and the chicken was raw inside. There should have been 3 large sides, only got 2, they were served in medium sized coffee cups. There were no wings in the order either. I should have followed my own advice and checked the order before I left, but, damn, this is just shameful. Spent 50 bucks and the chicken is our oven getting finished.

Stopped in and ordered a two piece dinner. Mind you there was only one other car in the drive thru and they told me to pull up and they would bring my food out. Over ten minutes later and multiple cars coming through the drive thru and still didn't get my food. So I went in to get my money back and they didn't even have chicken dropped and cooking. Then only gave me money back for the chicken saying you got the drink. Go here at your own risk!

Like others have mentioned, I was hopeful this place would rebound after they reopened this store. It seems it should have remained closed. Service is absolutely abysmal, and the staff should be overhauled. Also, compare the prices at this Bojangles with the other Bojangles in Athens. Example: sausage and egg biscuit here is about a dollar more than at the Lexington Road location. (Why? Are materials that much more expensive 5 miles away?) One (and only one) worker I've encountered is reasonably kind and moderately conscientious. Most other workers look at you and treat you like you are an annoyance. Contrast the workers here with the workers 200 yards away at Starbucks. They are pleasant there and act genuinely glad to see their customers - which is the complete opposite at this Bojangles. Other reviewers have also mentioned that online ordering is flawed. That has been my experience as well. Each time I've ordered online, I've entered the store and they had no idea what I ordered. They had to ask, "What did you order?" and then they proceeded to start the order after I arrived (and in many cases at least 20 minutes after the app stated the order would be ready). This **should** be an excellent location for a decent Bojangles restaurant, but it has not been a good Bojangles restaurant since they ran off their original leadership from the first opening of the store back around 2016/2017 or so. The leadership has been poor since 2019. They should consider closing this store again and putting the building back up for sale. Get new management and new workers, or close the location and hope for better results at other locations.

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to order food from a parallel universe where common sense doesn’t exist—look no further! The staff here seem to be conducting a live experiment in how many ways a simple order can go wrong. Instructions? Apparently, those are optional. Communication? A lost art. At this point, I think they’re just trying to see how far they can push the boundaries of human misunderstanding. I didn’t know failure could be a personality trait until I came here.
