We have been coming to BBMA for a little over a year now and love it. We started going when my daughter was 14 weeks. We were obviously incredibly nervous, but all of her teachers have been so great in ensuring she is loved and well taken care of. My daughter gives hugs, waves, and blows kisses when walking in and out. This is the only daycare we have been to, but staff turnover seems relatively low and they always seem happy and engaged with the kiddos.

I don't even know where to start. If I could give 10 stars, I would. My baby started at BBMA at 12 weeks old. She just turned 4 months, but just in the short amount of time we have been with BBMA, I have been amazed. I looked into several daycares before I toured this one. I actually did two tours and showed up 2 additional times before starting my baby with them because I was so anxious about leaving her and going back to work. I never felt like a nuisance and was welcomed with smiles each time. The first time I toured with the Director, Ms. Amber, I immediately felt at home. When I walked in, the place looked and smelled so clean. Everything is so organized and put together. As Ms. Amber was telling me everything a new mom would want/need to know, I was watching Ms. Emma and Mrs. Christina through the infant room and I could SEE the love they have for the babies they were taking care of. I immediately started picturing my little one in that room thriving. I knew when I got back in my car that this would be it. Here we are a few weeks later and my baby is doing just THAT, thriving. It is hard to even call BBMA a daycare. It truly feels like a second home. I trust Ms. Amber and my baby's teachers immensely. They all have such a passion for the children. Ms. Amber is an amazing Director, she is so dedicated, loving, welcoming, and literally lives to make sure the children are safe, happy, healthy, learning, growing, and all the good things. BBMA has curriculum for the children that I feel sets them apart from a regular daycare. My baby has done so great developmentally while being here. She is excelling and I do owe a special thanks to the staff for making sure she stays on a progressive path. BBMA is LITERALLY a second HOME. My baby is comfortable, happy and safe every morning when I leave her. I have cried, more times than I would like to admit, about how happy I am with BBMA. I never feel like I have to worry when I am at work. I get updates on my baby all throughout the day and each day when I pick her up, I can tell they all truly love and care for my little girl. I would recommend BBMA over and over and over again.

My son has found a second home with his teachers - the level of care and consideration we have consistently been met with demonstrates not only that the right folks are doing this work, but testifies to a professional environment that has each child at the center of their concerns. The director, Ms. Amber, has a wealth of resources suited to the developmental and social-emotional needs of my toddler, and her experience both in the classroom and at the helm of BBMA reminds me how much our teachers should be lauded for the incredible hard work they make look easy. The curriculum and routines at BBMA set this place apart - a school that sparkles. Thank you for the big love and learning my son receives everyday!

Our son has been attending since he was three months old. When he began it was under different ownership and we have been so pleased with all of the new changes that BBMA has implemented. As an educator, I love the curriculum Big Blue Marble Academy of Athens utilizes. The facility is incredibly nice, clean, well maintained, and welcoming! The staff is so invested in the well-being and developmental growth of our child. He is currently 18 months and loves his current class and his teacher! I have recommend BBMA to several of my friends and co-workers and will continue to do so.

We absolutely love the staff at BBMA Athens! We put our son in the infant classroom at 3 months old and was so nervous to have someone else watch him. But he always came home in good spirits and they’re so amazing about communicating his needs and developmental progression. So happy we chose BBMA!

We absolutely love Big Blue Marble! We have been sending our kids there for years and are so happy with it since they transitioned into Big Blue Marble. It is beautifully decorated and everyone that works there is very friendly. All of the teachers know my younger son and they still ask about my older son that has moved on to elementary school. As a teacher myself, I am so happy with what my son learns there and that he is always so excited to tell me about his day. I already know about a lot of what he has to tell me because I get updates and pictures throughout the day! If you are having doubts because of reviews from the previous owners, I highly suggest giving it a chance now.

Our child has been at Georgia Academy since he was 3 months old and we have had such a wonderful experience! Everyone is so nice and call you and your child by name! The staff is wonderful and work with you to ensure your child is getting the absolute best care. I feel so comfortable bringing my child here, I know he is being taken care of and loved by so many! Mark and his family go above and beyond. They called me during the weekend to check on my child who was out sick all week, they truly care and it shows! I highly recommend the crew at GA Academy of Early Learning!

BBMA Athens has been the the first daycare for my daughter, she started when she was 6 months and she is currently 3. They have curriculum where they learn about different countries around the world and even yoga. They have yoga even for the 6 week olds. My daughter always comes home and tells me about how much fun she’s had.

My child has gone here for over 3 years. They recently changed ownership (late summer 2022) from independent to the Big Blue Marble group. It has been phenomenal!! ALL NEW TOYS AND EQUIPMENT!! Amber, the Assistant Director loves her kids and her job, She is an incredible worker/ child caregiver! Christy, the Director is always available for help or questions. They have both put in tons of hours to elevate this center. The BBM group has put a lot of money and time into this center as well. Absolutely love the teachers that stayed with the transition and that shows they love what they do!! The food served is quality, I don't have any worries about his safety or well being. His learning and development with the new curriculum is evident!!
