Hello, This hotel was recommended to us by my nephew. It was very nice but moreover than that, Brock who helped us check in was awesome. He was very upbeat, respectful and very helpful. I gave the 4 stars on 2 of the ratings because our room was very nice, but somewhat noisy. When the ac cycle the compressor there was some rattling on and off and the same with the mini fridge. In fairness, we did not mention this to the management since we knew we would only be there for a couple of days. The location is pretty good but the traffic in the evening and especially in the morning make it difficult to exit the parking area. Overall, we'd stay here again. The place was well decorated and clean. Thanks for all of your help, Brock.

Stayed for one night, We could leave our car on the parking lot even though we couldn't check in. Very thin walls, our neighbours were not so quite as we wanted. Breakfast was a bit poor in my opinion but it was included. All in all, not too bad.

There are so many variables that can go wrong. But this hotel was different. From the moment we arrived, your team made us feel welcome. Not just tolerated—welcomed. Every person we interacted with showed patience, kindness, and genuine care. No one looked twice when we needed a little extra time or space. That level of understanding is rare, and deeply appreciated. Our room was immaculate. I didn’t have to wipe things down myself or second-guess using the bathroom or linens. That peace of mind is huge. And the mattress—I know it might sound strange to fixate on a mattress, but it was truly the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept on. Thank you for creating a space where families like mine can feel safe, respected, and taken care of. We will absolutely be back—and I’ll be telling every parent I know. This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The staff were warm, helpful, and genuinely attentive from start to finish. The room was spotless, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. Easily the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. I actually woke up feeling rested, which never happens when I travel. Truly a great experience. I’ll be recommending this place and definitely coming back. Thank you all!

The first room we were in had a broken phone and hair dryer and smelled like mildew. The person at the front desk was nice enough to put us in another room. However the room had dirty wash clothes from a prior guest in the shower. The room was not cleaned the first day and hastily cleaned the second day. Dirty towels were left on the floor without new ones given. The lobby smelled and the furniture looked old and dirty. The hotel needs to be renovated

The Best Western in Athens, GA was conveniently located and the front desk attendants were friendly. Those are the only reasons why I gave it two stars. The hotel was filthy and overflowing with garbage! There was a dirty garbage bin and a full black garbage bag right outside our room when we arrived. We went to breakfast at 6:00 AM on Monday, and there were two garbage cans overflowing with trash from the weekend. The coffee creamers curdled and the eggs were undercooked. I can’t recommend this particular place to stay.

Its an older hotel. If you want frills, then no. If you want simple, then yes. Its economical and gets you what you need; a comfortable room for a night or 2. Its recommended that you book your room in the tower. Its newer and more secure with the interior entrance. The exterior entrance part isnt as alluring.
