The 3rd oldest YMCA building in the country! The building shows it's age, but it is kept clean and welcoming, and they're about to start some construction. The staff are always friendly and they have great activities and classes. My older kids like the weight room and younger likes the track and outdoor pool. The indoor pool areas can be a bit confusing, but people are always happy to help explain. Overall, an excellent family friendly gym and recreation facility.

Staff is Great!! but building needs a serious updating ! With membership fees or Something! Seats in lobby old and faded looks like they have been there since opening day in 1857! No air conditioning in 80 degree weather...ceiling is falling apart and pool is so out dated..where can I post pics?! A mess

This is truly a gem in Athens. There are lots of facilities here including indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, sauna, gym, track & fields, large playground…etc. There are numerous after school programs and senior programs. They also have lap swim. Be sure to get there early enough, so you get a chance to lap swim.

My kids have gone to Camp Kelly every summer for the last 7 years. I can't express how much fun they have and the memories that they make each summer at camp! This is an amazing place!

Facilities are being upgraded, Hallelujah. But it’s the people that make this Y great. They’re just top notch. Pools are well balanced and maintained too.

Thank you to Tammy for making us feel welcome! I drove for hours to find a pool for my children and she was very pleasant with making sure we could come to this location at any time (showing proof of family membership of course)! Will come back!

Every person that works here is so nice. The childcare is wonderful. The equipment is outdated but I appreciate that there is a separate place for women to exercise, and that the AC works fine in the gym rooms!
