Dean and Christina are wonderful hosts. The room was comfortable and beautiful. I highly recommend The Athens House if you're spending some time in Athens. Also, Loki is a sweet pup that you may get to meet. The breakfast was homemade and very good too.

What a great find‼️|Very convenient to many places in Athens yet very quiet. There IS a wonderful big jacuzzi and the owners provide Teals bath salts. We’ve stayed here roughly four times and have never run out of hot water.|The owners are …

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Athens House! We stayed in the Gardenia suite, and the room and bathroom were beautiful and very comfy. The bath was amazing!! The house is situated against a beautiful peaceful forest, and we also saw many cute deer. Breakfast is included and delicious, and the host was gracious to cater to my diet (I don’t eat pork or beef). We’re moving to the area shortly, and we will definitely be having our family stay at Athens house in the future. For the price, I couldn’t recommend this BnB enough.

I am SO blessed that I found Athens House for my stay in Athens. What a glorious hidden gem - and a wonderful location, so close to town, yet I felt like I was in the country. The accommodations were so nice, much larger than any hotel room, and so comfy - slept like a baby. The big bathroom and claw footed tub were nice too. And a mini fridge with a freezer - nice! The hosts, Dean & Christina, were just wonderful. They responded to me promptly with my questions, and prepared me a delicious breakfast in the morning, even accommodating me to have it one hour earlier than normal as I had training to get to. Thank you so much, I will be back for sure!

Amazing find! This place is fantastic. It's located right off a main road, but nestled in the country. We stayed in the Magnolia (excuse our junk in the photos). It's very clean and quiet. It has a Keurig and mini fridge in the room. There's an adorable balcony with a table and two chairs. The breakfast was delicious. The host, Dale was so incredibly friendly. We will definitely choose this place again! 🙂

I loved my stay here. This place is definitely at the top of my list if I ever come up to Athens again. The service is kind, courteous and friendly. The rooms are great and I really enjoyed breakfast. It's a little off the beaten path, but there is plenty of fast food or grocery stores and things like that close by. If you want a nice, quiet, relaxing place to stay while you're in Athens, I would say this is it. I don't travel much but it's worth repeating. If I find myself in Athens again, this will be the first place I call about a room. 👍👍👍👍👍

After finding this place last year and having an amazing experience, we decided to return this year for our annual UGA game. After 20 years of dealing with busy/stressful downtown hotel stays, we will always look here first for our future Athens accommodations. This place is calming, peaceful and is kept up incredibly well. We have stayed in two of their rooms and both were CLEAN and comfortable. The breakfast is also 5 stars! The owners were accessible and attentive to any of our needs throughout our stay. Thank you for another great year, we will be back!

We stayed for one night in the Azalea room. So clean, and very quiet. Great location and easy to access. Sadly we had to leave before breakfast. If we ever return to Athens for an overnight stay, this will definitely be our go to place.

I’m an out of state student in the Redcoat Band at UGA, meaning I always have to get to Athens earlier than move in dates for the places I have lived. This has always been a stressful experience of going from a standard downtown hotel to practice, but this year was so much better because of Athens House. I’ve never stayed somewhere so peaceful and historic, and there was not a single bad part about the experience. The price was insanely good, the breakfast was so delicious and comforting to have after being on the road, and while I didn’t get to meet Christina, Dean was SO GREAT. I don’t know how many hotels have people willing to help you replace a flat tire on your car and also teach you how to do it yourself, but Dean could not have been more helpful and welcoming during our entire stay. Definitely will be back :)

We really enjoyed our stay. It was cozy, clean and charming. The owners Dean and Chris were pleasant and welcoming hosts. This will be our go-to spot if/when we’re back in Athens. It’s also conveniently located near downtown. Oh and don’t miss out on breakfast! It was delicious. 10/10 would recommend staying at The Athens House.
