Went last year for the first time. Went again today and there seemed to be less vendors. Prices are super high. Yes, I know it's local and all, but I'm just stating facts. $8 will get you a pound of tomatoes or a dozen eggs. $20 will get you a pint of honey. It gets super crowded early. We bought turkey legs for the dogs, some produce and some really good sourdough and a cinnamon roll. I'm probably good for one visit per season...

Th vibe here was great. Nice space with covered shopping. There were 3 or 4 butcher style trucks so if you need proteins be sure to bring an ice packed cooler. I was a little disappointed in the variety of vegetables though. Almost all the farmers were selling the same vegetables and the only fruit available was some small watermelons. I was actually shocked that there was only 1 vendor with GF bakery options and alot of the baked goods had artificial food dyes 😬. Overall it was ok and we went home with veggies, sourdough, a few baked goods and a really bad Americano cup of coffee. Wouldn't come back though.

Big farmer's market. Nice to the southern local businesses bloom in a small city like Athens. Seen a lot of unique stalls like candles and jewelers. On the other hand typical farmers market stuff like meat, eggs, & produce. What caught my eye was the Sri Lankan food stall that also sold some Indian items like Vada and Mango lassi. The people were very cordial, patient, and welcoming. However, I would have to say, everything in the market was ridiculously expensive for a small city like Athens.

Farmers markets are fun. I just don't quite like the high prices. Perhaps if I stayer longer and enjoyed the crowd a little more, i’d uave given a four star review.

So many fresh and farm grown veggies!!! In love! Fresh breads, pastries, freshly made Middle Eastern mezza items, fresh pasta... and much more...food trucks...plants...flowers... oh... so nice!

If mornings could be a bit more leisurely, I'd stick around to enjoy more of the vibe. Shopping and edibles are quality! Looking for to the next visit.

Best farmers market. Several farms represented, produce, beef, chicken, eggs, everything you need. Art and gifts from multiple vendors. And you can’t leave without some of the best jelly I ever had
