This place is seriously one of my favorite places to go with my friends. Checking out materials is so fun and I always feel so proud when I return a book after I've completed it. The timeline for finishing books also gives me great motivation to actually finish them! Seriously, in the day of dwindling third spaces, a library as diverse and robust as this one is a blessing to the community. It gives me hope for facilities like these in the face of censorship. Never change and keep on fighting for the books we all deserve the opportunity to read! (P.S. Anyone who wants to see more nonbinary representation in literature should definitely check out Constellations by Kate Glasheen! Genderqueer by Maia Kobabe is also a classic for anyone looking to read banned books and/or memoirs about similar subjects, but do keep in mind it definitely contains some mature discussions and content)

Waited to make a post until I got my passport in hand. But I went a few weeks ago to file for one, and was politely and professionally helped by multiple library employees. When I called they were very kind and walked me through the process and what all I would need...fees, paperwork, what to expect etc. They also managed to work me in within a few days for an appointment. Much much faster than any postal office, plus they have an on-site photo taker that is calibrated to be passport accepted. At the appointment, one employee made sure I got my photo taken and had the paperwork, and then the official passport servicer came out and handled the filing process. Nobody made a fuss about my identity/sex marker difference, and filed my stuff with what seemed like the same energy someone with a normal filing would have had. I am thankful for that interaction. I received my passport a few days ago, correct marker, correct information and everything was sent back appropriately as well. Thank yall for your work and being open-minded about everyone that comes in for a service.

I love coming here, but the men's restroom downstairs is never stocked with soap or paper towels. It seems like they don't clean or maintain it at all.

Was at the library yesterday 5/9/25. The men's restroom on the second floor was disgusting and nasty!! The inside of the door was sticky and very dirty, the urinals look as if they haven't been cleaned in weeks! I do understand that there is a lot of homeless people that frequent the library. Whoever the county is paying for janitorial service is robbing them big time!!

I saw a group of kids get racially profiled almost the instant they walked into the library. Rude staff, disgusting bathrooms, and a bunch of homeless people. Do not go here!

Wonderful! So proud to have a resource of this quality in our community. Wonderful staff. Not enough but they do a great job. All kinds of personalized services are available and the heritage room is just like a treasure chest. Treasure chest with people who are very schooled and experts in all kinds of research. All stop, listen, help and enjoy helping you. Just a wonderful place. I want to get involved!

First off, I am impressed! This is one of the better designed and staffed libraries that I've been to. It may even rival some small country college libraries as well. Along with a staff that is super kind to everyone, their professionalism is unrivaled (even with some rowdier patrons), the library offers free charging stations with all the plugs for all your devices. The upstairs has private rooms, for both individuals and groups that need to study and a tech center with enough computers that they rarely fill up. The atmosphere is like a library should be, quiet, clean and well organized. They even have a passport station upstairs, for any up and coming international travelers that might stop by for a renewal or a first time passport. Did I say the staff were good, I mean really good, I listened to a couple get passport information once and I dare anyone at a consulate to dispense such accurate and spot on advice! I highly recommend stopping in just to peruse the brand new books as you enter the lobby, right in the front or go upstairs and catch up on current events. You won't be disappointed.

This library has a very extensive selection of books. Personally as someone who loves Graphic novels and Manga, they have a TON of it; I haven't seen many other libraries with this many, which is a real bonus. Very warm and welcoming with lots of activities for both Teens and Adults alike. One of my Top 3 libraries to go to, definitely check it out.
