Pros: The office is very communicative, very helpful, and on top of things. Maintenance guys are professionals, overqualified, and kind. Rent is reasonable. The studio apartments above garages are wonderful - quiet, private, and detached from noise. Cons: Lease has 90-days move-out notice. I thought it wouldn't be a problem until life made it my problem. Some roaches, one or two, but not *that* bad because I fixed up my apt with several maintenance requests, blocking every entrance those creepers crawl into. Whoever moves in after me is blessed. I moved in to the flat barely cleaned... some guy's underwear was in my washer, some guy's socks in the dryer, some guy's leaves (??) in the dishwasher. Pins in the carpet that I stepped on and bled for... I've picked up three and I think there's one more, but I haven't tracked it down yet.

Ascent Athens is such a lovely community. It’s serene, aesthetically appealing, family friendly and safe. The leasing office staff are super helpful and friendly. They are always ready to assist with issues and go above and beyond to make sure issues are addressed swiftly and properly. There are regular preventative maintenance checks done to make sure everything is in order and the maintenance team is absolutely amazing.

Great place to live — quiet, clean, and well-maintained. Maintenance is fast, and Julia is always friendly and professional. She made everything from move-in to day-to-day questions super easy. Highly recommend!

Love living here so much! I have been here for about a year and have nothing but positive things to say. By far the best apartment complex I have lived in.Super easy move in and the staff are so helpful. The valet trash service is great and maintenance happens very quickly. The amenities are great and the neighbors are friendly. Pretty quiet area that is nice for studying in my apartment. I feel very safe as a female living alone here and will definitely renew my lease.

Everyone that works in the leasing office does a great job, including Julia, Kierra and Nathalie. Also the maintenance staff are super nice and have great response times. Living here is a breeze.

First day move in I was greeted with popcorn and a nice note and Starbucks gift card🥲❤️. The apartment wasn’t perfect at first but all I had to do was make a request and maintenance came the very next day! Nothing but a wonderful community full of car enthusiasts, pet lovers, gym rats 💪 and all together amazing people! The staff and management are wonderful aswell😁 no thieves, very clean neighborhood, they are always throwing parties and get togethers for the community to enjoy. The gym is open late night along with bathrooms. If you want to wind down at night, I’ve caught myself sleeping on the hammocks from time 😅 the pool is also open late night but I wish it was open a little later 🥲 I can’t wait for any upcoming plans! I’m hoping for a pickleball court or even tennis, soccer, golf or basketball 😅

First day of moving-in, very very disappointed. 1. My package is delivered to a wrong place in this community and lost. I never got instructed or inform that address of individual unit does not match the one listed on the contract, which is only referring to the leasing office address. I came from Minnesota and I also lived in a complex like this, never had problems for the package delivery. This is my lesson 1. 2. It’s nearly 90F outside and 89 inside, our AC went down and the maintenance people told us the AC compressor got trapped by dust/fiber glass, so it got overheated and cannot function. We tried to fix it twice but nope, not working. They gave us a portal AC and claimed it has the same power, and should cool the room down. But I guess my thermostat told me that’s not correct. 3. I saw a big hole has been opened on wall in my closet and not covered at all, leaving all wood and dust there plus internet cable (that’s not really a modem (if you want to use internet, you need to call ATT and have them ship one modem to you) 4. The move-in orientation only happened in the leasing office. No one walked with us and did inspections. I try to be respectful, but looking at the numerous left-over hair in the washer and no hot water in the kitchen tap. The washer and dryer smells like someone smoked inside, it’s all that cigarette smell. I really doubt how the move-out inspection was done. Did you really run one? Or just take emptying the unit as a standard of good? 6. Mail box and package reception room are in separate and very weird places, for new people living in units that’s far (as in not close to leasing office), it’s really hard to find mails and packages. Also, not clearly explained where to go, how the locker room work. Should I self teach on this?? 5. The “luxury” is definitely reflected on price and in the decor of leasing office. I was expecting at least the unit should be clean and neat. My room carpet has snails popping out and hurt my feet when I was walking to move my furniture, how the work was done??? 6. Reading other people’s comments plus my own experience, I don’t know how to stay positive now.

I lived here for about a year and a half, left only because of a new opportunity out of town. Julia and Kierra were honestly exceptional and always there for support with anything I needed. Lots of people, including myself, used the gym often and it was always clean. My 2br apartment had very nice appliances and was very comfortable for me and my roommate. We loved living there. Close to a publix, downtown, etc. Would recommend
