Got the recommendation from Kaleb Dance at Bobcat of Athens as this first time eating here. Food was fresh, really good and priced right with fast friendly service. I got the steak philly with everything on it and 5 piece wings (hot) as a combo. Wings are super tiny so I wish I hadn't skipped on the fries. They were pretty busy with people coming in and out so that says a lot in my opinion. The wing flavor was perfect, not too spicy with plenty of flavor. The Philly was buttery rich and the bread was soft but held everything in place

I went in for dinner and was used to the food taking 10 mins, but it came out almost 5 minutes after I sat down! The cashiers were really nice and the service was great. The food was good and HOT as always!

I had bulldawg foods deliver the 10 piece lemon pepper wing combo. When I opened my box I had a lot of fries (they were good and hot) and dried out burnt wings. When I called, I was told to leave my job, come to them and they would fix new food. There is a reason I used a food service and didn't drive myself to your location people. The customer service was okay, but the manager is no where to be located. They need new management.

Normally the food is great! I drive an hour just to get it, but this last time that I went (Feb. 22, 2018) was a miss. The beef on my sub was obviously burned during the cooking process and it had an awful smell which took away from me enjoying my sub. I ended up throwing more than half of it away, unfortunately. The teryaki wings and fried rice was good, though. I think I'll have to start going back to the American Deli on Broad Street from now on. :-(

They leave the wings out for hours at at time cooked sitting over grease(4 full baskets)then get attitude when asked about it

The service here was really good. Staff were very helpful and responsive to anything we needed. If I had to fault it for anything, it was the food. I really didn't enjoy the garlic parmesan wings as they were quite different from what is a traditional garlic parmesan wing. They were sweet, almost like a glaze. Their gyro was also just okay. What I thought was really good was their deli sandwich. I've had plenty of deli style sandwiches, and theirs was solid. All the veggies were fresh and delicious. Would come back to try other stuff.

Had some wings the other day and they were amazing.. and the cashier was an absolute delight helped me with any questions that I had and made sure I got exactly what I wanted and needed best personality I've seen in a while. Will definitely be back!

My family and I have visited several times in the past and always had excellent service and food. Tonight was very different. After eating dinner, I attempted to go to the restroom and was informed by one of the females that was sitting in the hallway that the bathroom was closed. I told her that it was okay, I would wait until it was finished. She said, "no it's closed for the night." I told her yet again, I would wait until they were finished. During the entire conversation, no one was cleaning the restroom or occupying it. I told them that we had spent over $40 and that I would be using the restroom. My family was told that it was the owner's rules, not theirs. With that being said, we will never return to American Deli. They do not need our money if we aren't allowed to use the restroom.
