Fantastic place to go with your family and for fellowship events. We enjoyed the amazing Disney on Ice experience. Great view, great food, and state-of-the-art amenities. This place gets a 10 out of 10. As musicians, we enjoyed that it has some of the elements of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame present. The staff seemed as if they were enjoying their responsibility to serve others.

The initial setup, including the air conditioning, functioned effectively, creating a comfortable environment. The venue was well-maintained, and the security personnel were both efficient and approachable. While some food vendors experienced delays in food preparation, the customers were encouraged to remain patient. The audio team performed admirably, ensuring clear sound quality throughout the event. The wife and I are looking to come back for more events.

Love the Rock Lobsters, love the arena. Shout out to them playing my bands new single. My ONLY problem is the fact that spend a good part of the hockey games trying to view the game between and around people standing on the stairs during play.

Myself and my husband came during the grand opening of the Akins Ford Arena. We were able to get free parking, a free Christmas ornament, free popcorn, a free fountain drink, free face painting, and we sat and watched everyone skate in the bleachers. I loved it. The only complaint that I have is that they need to update the signage to get you from the parking deck to the arena. We stayed on the elevator longer than expected trying to figure out our way. Also the event staff could have been friendlier. Customer service is super important and I hope they improve in that aspect.

Akins Ford Arena at the classic center in Athens. If you haven't been yet, you most certainly should make the trip. Have been to the Athens Rock Lobster hockey games. A show and the opening celebration ceremony. If you haven't been again, you need to go they've done it up right at the Akins Ford sports arena. Not a bad seat in the house concessions are both convenient and reasonable. The management that runs the classic center and Arena second to none. Have yet to have anything but a great time while visiting the arena.

Nice arena and building, I gave it a 2 because the parking is very bad. Also, they don't have enough employees to control conflicts that arise. For example, if you reserve sets for graduation, people took them even tho they were reserved. If there had people to help, let know areas are full.

When I was told I'd be going to the first Rock Lobsters home game, I was stoked. My hometown getting a team just when I was getting into hockey? Great timing! When I entered the arena for the first time, I was immediately greeted with a face of glee. The staff are nice, the food was great, and the hockey game itself was a blast. It was one of the few times I felt genuine happiness. I can't wait to go to more Rock Lobster and even UGA hockey games!

What a great venue! My family came to a Rock Lobster hockey game on a Sunday afternoon. It was well attended, and the staff of the arena did a great job keeping the audience entertained while there was a break in the action. The bathrooms and the overall venue were very clean. We were glad we visited!

I was there for the first Rock Lobsters game. Overall the arena is great. The seats were comfortable. I'm 5'11" and there was just enough leg room. There did not appear to be a bad seat in the house. They had a good selection of food. The only negative, and a very fixable issue, was that the music pregame was very loud. Just talking to my dad next to me was difficult.
