Daughter took us here while visiting Athens. We enjoyed the music and loved that it was a mixed crowd of all ages. It's not quite the 90s music I would have on my Playlist but that didn't keep us from having a great time.

This is literally my favorite gay bar in Athens!!! So many Bros dancing with each other! 🏳️🌈 I love the attention that men give each other here.

One of my favorites being a 90's baby myself so I always know/love the music. The bartenders are friendly. The only thing I have to say to to people it might affect is that to enter to the main area of the bar you do have to go up a decently steep long set of steps so not handicap friendly. Or if you have drank a bit to much it might not be the best option for you.

One of the best bars I've been too because the music is so great!! Every single is a great 90's song! The dance floor is small but definitely fun. Drinks are cheap before 11 p.m which is a plus!

In town visiting. 3 of us after dinner decided to go hang out & check out nightlife. Stood in line for night club. 1st door guy asked 2nd door guy. What about them? He looked us up & down & then said "We are only letting in students". To an over 21 club? We walked to 9D's CLUB. Had an incredible experience. Dropped alot of $ money buying drinks for us and those around us. Thank you 9D's for welcoming ALL!

Have had friends not allowed in because their clothing was too "urban", then just recently I got thrown out after being there for 30 minutes. Wouldn't even let me get my card, glasses, or coat. Horrible, I don't know why these guys ruin a good nightlife. Don't even waste your time showing up here. Owner just responded saying "inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated" lol. So being a Mexican male in a predominantly white bar is considered inappropriate to this guy. Seriously, don't bother with these guys Now(3/12/19) my general physician says that I might have broken both my tailbone & my right thumb...when the employee from this bar pushed me down the stairs. So I guess I'll be filing a lawsuit against them...hope you future patrons like giving $ to racist promoters. & (owner, trust me on this) just cause you delete the video doesn't mean that you'll have less business cause of a employee that did this to your bar. I don't hold the bar accountable. Just that single employee that took it too far. I expect to see you in court sir/ma'am.

I don't think there's another bar in Athens that attracts as wide of a mix of people as 9d's. 9d's is the epitome of a late night bar, and it gets packed out every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Nobody goes for the drinks or because it's chill, they go because they want to dance and sing along to all the favorite songs of yesteryear. One you hear a lot is "they don't play 90s music", and while that's true- a lot of the music is actually early 00s, it's just because they have to update for the increasingly younger crowd that attends. But that doesn't scare off the older people who loved the music when they were in their 20s. Awesome place to close down, and there's honestly no substitute if you want to dance.

Great atmosphere and obviously great songs. But 1 shot (that they didn't even fill up) of svedka was $7.42 -- Even though their menu says shots are $4. Bartender said something that anything less than $5, they have to add a dollar. And then I guess tax. It kind of ruined my mood. So I would go back because it was fun, but I'm never spending money there again.

Hot. Sweaty. Nasty. That place lets in more people than they should. Everytime I go there, I barely can dance because I have no space to dance. Floor shakes so much everything people jump. Do not recommend going there unless you are trashed, and just want to dance.

My girlfriends and I love going to 9d's to dance because the music is SOOO good! I definitely recommend if you need a night out to let loose, going to this bar. The bartenders are also really cool too. Be aware of the older men who prey on the girls though. I understand that this happens at any bar, but I notice it more at 9d's, possibly due to how small the space of the bar is. Just be smart and always watch your drinks!!
