The atmosphere is not their fault. As new person to this town I am missing my normal Jamaican spots. And the abundance of them. This place was well worth the drive and visit!!!! The portion size is how it should be! My plate was heavy. The guy there understood the assignment when I said “heavy on the gravy”. The cabbage was seasoned and was softer than most places. The rice and peas was not crunchy. The curry goat was the opener but my drink was the star of the show. I mixed the pineapple and ginger and sorrel and it was 🔥🔥🔥 back to the goat. That goat was very good. I had a lot of bones but I don’t mind cause that’s where the flavor is. Very well seasoned. I tore my plate up in the parking lot and can’t wait to finish it at home. I will be back. The price was well worth it $24

Very nice and kind people, food smells and looks good. The areas around the food, ice, drinks, etc very clean. I only had the peas and rice with oxtail gravy..... Brunch, lunch, dinner you choose but please don't skip..... Order up!!!!!

This may be one of the best kept secrets in Athens, and it shouldn't be because it deserves all the praise. I got the jerk pork plate. The meat is well seasoned and tender, the rice is perfectly cooked, the cabbage is incredible, and the plantains are delightful. I got the mild beef patties for my husband - the meat is obviously slow cooked and tender and the crust is flaky and delicious. They have an excellent selection of meats (ox tail, chicken, pork, beef, goat) and great sides in addition to a variety of fresh drinks. I'll definitely be back regularly.

316 Caribbean in Athens offers great Caribbean/ Jamaican dishes at reasonable prices. Staff members are friendly and helpful and customers can eat right there or choose take out. The juice selection is fantastic, as well. Food options range from meat pies to chicken, ribs, curry, and oxtail stew with plenty of side options. The restaurant is inside the Mall at the food court and is open 6 days a week.

Food and service were amazing! I had the oxtails and jerk chicken with rice and peas, cabbage, and macaroni and cheese! The food was well seasoned and cooked to perfection! Definitely a hidden gem in the ATH! Their natural juices go with the meal perfectly as well!

I saw God tonight. The people making this food are truly blessed with culinary skills, not often found in Athens. We ordered a portion of the oxtail of the chicken and the pork shoulder. All were fantastic. The Mac was great but the Rasta pasta stole the show! The jerk sauce was perfect and not at all too spicy. This will become at the very least of once a week place for us!
