I hate to do this but if I could leave 0 stars I would. These are complete lies none of my work orders have been completed they just go in the system and mark completed to make themselves look good. I don’t even have working heat due to gas south saying the unit wasn’t safe and had some type of leak that STILL hasn’t been addressed, do you see how cold it is outside!!? I don’t know who is in charge of this review page but before responding to reviews you should really check your people at the property because they do a horrible job of getting things done I have ZERO repairs fixed!!

I very rarely even leave reviews, but I am honestly tired of begging for my apartment to be fixed. I’ve been living here for 3 months and I have had put in complaints about doors being broken, the weather strip in my door being missing, etc. with no avail. After having reported said issues, maintenance has said for 2 months, “we will fix them this week” or “next week” and I have yet to hear from them. My doors were broken the day I moved in but was assured they’d be fixed the same day. Needless to say they weren’t fixed. When it rains, the rain comes through my door due to the lack of a weather strip. I haven’t seen maintenance since I moved in, in August. I pay a nice amount of money to live here, and my appliances and doors are screwed.

Great staff! I love the neighborhood. No drama. Has an onsite gym, pool , & playground . Very nice apartment with washer dryer hookups. No loud noises, very quiet & kid friendly neighborhood. Just renewed my lease for the second year !

The agents are great and the leasing process was simple and streamlined which I appreciate. Dog friendly -on site dogpark is a huge benefit, and private Ben Burton park access is priceless. The buildings are from the 1960s, so expect issues typical in older construction. My unit was freshly painted and the floors are newer but need replaced from previous tenant damages. Some plumbing problems. Pest control is a must and is included in the bundled charges for on site water and trash. Christy and Patrick have both been easy to reach and quick to explain charges. It’s true, there are a lot of administrative fees and charges. In my experience it’s better than dealing with owner/landlords because I have had some horrible exploitative ones—having that peace of mind is almost worth the billing bureaucracy. Also huge washer/dryer laundry storage is a bonus.

I’m not the type of person to leave bad reviews, I tend to cut my losses and move on. The reason I’m writing this review is to warn people. Looking based on the website, they put on a great facade. If you’re moving here to be able to enjoy the pool, don’t think it’ll ever be open and on the off chance it is open, it’s disgusting and poorly maintained and definitely not safe for children. As far as the actual apartments, we moved into ours and it was literally falling apart. The bathtub was peeling so badly and so disgusting and damaged (yellow and all) that we couldn’t even shower or bathe in it. They told us that we’d have to pay for our own hotel while they fix it, and they finally fixed it after 6 weeks of my husband and I begging them. The manager Patrick even told us to bathe in it until further notice, which I wouldn’t even allow an animal to bathe in there let alone my children. I had my son in late March and we noticed our a/c didn’t work at all. My husband is an HVAC technician and highly trained at what he does. He tried telling the office and maintenance what was wrong with it for 3 months straight. We had our children, one of which was a newborn, in 90 degree temperatures in the apartment and they finally fixed it after 3 months of us calling every single day. They had no remorse for that either. We didn’t have bathroom fixtures (they were torn off from the previous tenants before we even moved in) until 2 months before our one year lease was up and even then they were poorly built on. I could write an entire book on what was wrong with this place, but I simply and unfortunately cannot do so on a review. Every person we’ve met who’s lived here has regretted their decision in their choice of moving to 130 Cole. My husband and I aren’t very picky people, but when we pay $1500 in rent a month, we expect a/c along with livable conditions.

My daughter lived here for the past year (I was listed as a grantor and visited several times). First the apartment was really large! That was a plus, but that's where it ends. The deck looked too scary to walk on. There was a mold issue in the kitchen. The floors creaked badly (installed wrong). She cut her foot taking out the trash bc the lot is poorly maintained, cracks in sidewalks. The front door wouldn't stay closed unless it was locked. The entire time she lived there, she had a problem with cockroaches! They changed pest companies but the problem was never resolved. For a couple months, mail was not available (bc they blamed USPS with issues changing out all the boxes) The pool opened late due to first, ladder replacement. Then it opened but stayed green bc the pump was broken. Then come to find out, it hadn't been inspected in over a year and wasn't supposed to be open in the first place! She was told she would be compensated for these issues when she moved out but was only offered her deposit. She was told the pool wasn't included as part of her rent, so she wouldn't be compensated for lack of use. They don't put in pools to be nice. Of course that pool is part of rent! There are too many other, better options in Athens than this place. Skip it if you can.

Patty and Christy are the best! My fiancé and I have loved living here and we’ve never had an issue in this community. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet neighborhood with a leasing office that takes prompt action for any issues that may arise, thanks for all yall do! -Addy

The pool is green you will have a spider exhibit when you come home. they will add random fees to get more money off of you , you will get ripped off they will not show you receipts why it is what it is the maintenance is very slow and will not get things done will take a year for them to actually arrive when they do they will be back in 6 months for the same thing and don’t fix anything stuff will already be broken in the apartment when you get it they hide it by painting over everything people in the leasing office very rude. There is also a dangerous Pitbull that wonders the complex attacking people and other animals was brought to the leasing office attention only thing they said was call animals control this dog already attacked a few dogs and people and has several complaints leasing office did nothing about it if I was you I would not be leasing here that your service somewhere else .

Amazing customer service since day 1! After asking 10,000 questions, they still stayed very professional and helped me so much. Been working on my credit for a very long time and I’m finally approved to have my own place. Apartments are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Definitely going to use the pool and exercise room! It seems like a very quiet and safe area. Can’t wait till next month! Thank you once again, 130 Cole! EDIT: 4 months living here and it’s just what I dreamed of. Very understanding staff and no huge issues here. Neighbors are great and I love the pool!!

I really can’t understand the poor reviews. The customer service is probably the best I’ve ever received. I’m recently separated from my husband and they have been SO understand, comforting, empathetic and all around wonderful. I also have two German Shepherds that Patrick asked to meet when I signed my lease just because he loves dogs! I don’t know any other place around here that would rent to someone with two German Shepherds, no matter how sweet they are. The rent is reasonable, the few problems I’ve had they’ve fixed almost immediately, my neighbors are nice. Sure the building is a bit old but it’s beautiful nonetheless. Don’t hesitate! Rent from this place and give yourself the peace of mind!
