My husband and I both liked Dr.Tally instantly. He is thorough, knowledgeable, listens, and cares about his patients. He also provided me with a plan of action that made sense for my sciatic pain while putting my mind at ease. We liked his preparedness.

I am an Athens Orthopedic Clinic (AOC) patient and have been seeing Dr. Tally for a lower back problem. He has given me several epidural injections and is scheduled to do my surgery in a couple of weeks. I have found him to be extremely competent—straight forward and honest in his assessment of my problem and thorough in explaining every step of the process from when I first started seeing him through the expected surgery. Dr. Tally is also compassionate and encouraging. I have received the same level of competent and professional care from his PA, Skye Barrett. While this is a place no one wishes to find themselves, I am confident that I am in good hands. In addition, staff in the Athens and Greensboro offices and Surgery Center have all been exceptionally pleasant and professional. I have nothing but high praise for the AOC.

I am so happy with the results of my injection. However that solved 25 % of my issues. Yhe injection definitely helped the lower right pain but did not affect the left side or upper back pain on either side. I am confident that with injections in the other three zones I will be way better off than I was before!!! Thank you !!

I don’t see how anyone would give 5 stars. I suspect they are falsified. Dr. Tally quickly diagnosed me without doing all of the tests required for his diagnosis He wanted to rush me into surgery the following week and made it seem urgent. His bedside manner was lacking to say the least. He seemed irritated with my questions and was very rushed. As I was getting ready to check out, he came in the office and said to the receptionist, “I can’t go work-out without my keys,” which made it seem like that was the reason he was rushed with me. Thank God I have a friend who is an NP who advised me to consult with a neurosurgeon. I did, and he told me every possible thing to try before surgery. He said that surgery was not a necessity at all. Had I listened to Dr. Tally, I would have had a major surgery that was unnecessary. Please ignore the 5 star reviews and read the 1 star ones. They all sound the same and they are the accurate ones
