The people who work there are very rude. I was with my 6-month-old baby and they kicked me out just because I was carrying a diaper bag. They had no way of doing it, and in front of other people. They don't know ethics. They should give them some classes on how to treat the public. I rather saw it as racism on the part of the dark-skinned women. I'm not coming back. We all deserve respect, but what do these equals know about respect and how to treat the consumer if they think they are the divine herons.

I love this store I love not having to deal with so many people and it’s so convenient buuuut the reason it’s given one star is the pharmacy department is absolutely awful. They’re rude and have no actual customer service. The lady I spoke to today had the rudest voice and literally didn’t want to do her job. That’s unacceptable. Treating patients poorly because you don’t like your job is sad. I will be looking for a new pharmacy AGAIN

I love Walmart Athens neighborhood market! Their produce is fresh, and they have specialty grocery items, and they have a drive-thru pharmacy. Woo Hoo! Makes it a lot easier when all I have to do is get my prescriptions.

5/21/25 at 4:21 pm I’m approaching self checkout and an elderly woman is patiently waiting on Alarria (the girl “supervising” self checkout….what. a. joke.) to notice her. Alarria is too busy texting away to even notice. I work in retail and I know sometimes I want to check my phone butttttt sheesh she makes it clear she could care less about the job or the customers. Once she finally noticed the woman she huffed, rolled her eyes and walked over emotionless and rude. Like she was inconveniencing her?!? It was ridiculous. I felt so bad for the poor woman. Roll those cameras back and you’ll see. Getting paid to not only do nothing but to be rude? DO BETTER. Or work somewhere else.

I usually do my Groceries at this location because is closer to my house. But after today I’m going back to Kroger. Everyone at this location are very rude. Today Sunday May 4 at 5:30pm I went to do my groceries and most of the self check out was full so I see one cashier open operated by old lady name LINDA. She was very rude she told us no to remove bags from the canter and a second later she told us to remove bags from counter she have bed activated. And when I was leaving I said thank you she don’t respond back to me. No more Walmart for me or my family.

Mike and Kimberly went above and beyond to help me find some items that were in the back room! What I love even more about this store is how organized and zoned it is! Everything is always pretty easy to find! Great experience!! :)

Okay, I found all the things on my list except for getting the wrong vegetables. That is where the experience turned south. I came back to the Walmart store to return the vegetables that same day. I was directed to a cashier who could handle my return since customer service was closed at 9:50 pm. The cashier said that she doesn’t do returns and I should come back tomorrow at 8am when customer service was open. I came back at 8:45 AM. No one was there at customer service. It was 2 employees looking for cashier’s tape for the registers. I then walked to a cashier who was able to take my return. Walmart, I need a gas voucher! Because that’s terrible coming to the store 2 times to make a return! Just Terrible!

Great store, clean and well kept. Parking lot is always really low when I get here. Really enjoy shopping here much better than the other walmarts. Doesn't feel like a crappy Walmart store, good job! I will he coming back for sure.
