It was my second time there and first time actually shopping, and not just glancing around and buying 1 thing. They were SO kind. It’s my birthday and they gave me the birthday discount and were genuinely friendly. One worker helped me find things with no hesitation and chatted casually. I comment on these things because it’s hard to stay positive sometimes in these environments where customers can be rude, exhausting, and inconsiderate. So their genuine kindness spoke to the character of everyone working there. Good vibes all around. This is how my first experience there was, even though it was very short. To management: your employees rock! please tell them how amazing they are!

I have been an advent, customer and supporter of uptown cheapskate for many years and for many different locations and I am a believer that they are far superior to Plato‘s closet. Although, this location does have kind staff. They are not understanding at all for time management. I was told that my clothes would be looked through in less than 45 minutes while it actually took well over an hour. I felt very gipt as I was offered far less money than any other location I’ve ever been to for a substantial amount of very expensive clothing that they wanted. I’m frustrated and disappointed.

I brought an Uptown black tote bag, because they said that it would get you a discount every time that you shopped there, if you bring it back. However, when I brought my bag back to buy new items and put my tote bag on the counter for the cashier, my bag discount was not applied. They didn’t say anything to me and they did not apply it either, althrough I had gone out of my way to try to remember to bring the bag with me. Just a little disappointing my effort went to waste!

I desperately needed a pair of sturdy sandals as mine were worn from frequent nature walking. They had the cutest stuff! I have a very particular fashion taste, and they’ve got a lot to offer even for me. Found this adorable dress today hehe. The prices were pretty awesome too considering most places with actual fashionable clothing love to jack up the pricing. Would definitely recommend :)
