I'm very grateful to Andy and the team for their help. I came in with pain in my shins as a novice runner and they gave me practical strength training exercises to help me get back on track. They didn't just give me the exercises and send me on my way, but they took an educational approach to help me understand why they recommended those exercises. With their help, I was able to run the race I was training for, and now I have more tools to build on that initial success. Thanks again for helping me achieve my goal!

When first arriving to UGA, I never thought I would be able to return to the intense physical activity I once loved due to my back injury. I had done 2-3 separate bouts of PT before but I decided to give it one last shot at UGA. Best decision I ever made. The whole department is dedicated to helping improve your quality of life and address the issue at hand. I came to them for literally any injury I had and even for injury prevention. Cannot say enough good things about everyone in the department who helped me get to a point where I was totally healthy (which is rare for me). My PT, Andy, always had an answer for whatever issue I was dealing with. He is a huge reason why I was able to pursue all of my physical fitness goals. I could never have done it without his help. Thank you all for everything!

My experience has been absolutely wonderful! I came in for back pain and knee pain and with a lot of work and a great collective of Physical Therapists. I was able to overcome my pain! They helped me learn the correct forms of exercise, and preventative measures. They never wasted my time and the service was super affordable! 10/10!

I came in for severe knee pain that was persistent and was directed to the Physiotherapy/sports medicine unit. After a couple of sessions with Dr. Andy, I was as good as new. Maybe even better. I enjoyed how informative he was. He was also very patient with me and answered all my questions happily. My knee feels great and I got a lot of new knowledge about muscle imbalances and interesting exercises to include for strength training. Thanks again Dr. Andy!

I've never been to PT before, so this was my first experience. And the UHC PT department did not disappoint!!! If you have TMJ, seriously consider them. The entire staff was so supportive, and Andy Smith in particular worked wonders on my TMJ: I couldn't believe how quickly I was able to recover and feel better! Highly recommend! Also, FYI for other clueless people who (like me) thought that TMJ is just the jaw: wear comfy workout clothes. It's not just the jaw, and you will be doing some exercises. Don't repeat my mistake and wear your teaching clothes to the clinic. Learned it the hard way, so you don't make my mistake.

I came to PT because of my elbow problem. Dr. Smith helped me on that. He explained clearly to me about what is going on with my elbow. This reduced my concern a lot. And now I start doing regular strength training for my triceps again. Thanks!

The PT clinic has been exceptional over the past few months for me. I would 100% recommend the clinic to a friend or colleague in need of PT services. Everyone there is kind, welcoming, and wants to do everything possible to get you to full functionality safely. An advantage of going here is there are no aides working at the health center, only PT's. They also offer medical and regular massage.

I was preparing for a big tournament and tore some stuff in my foot up. I thought I was done, but Dr. Smith helped me like crazy and within several weeks, I left feeling better, stronger, and more balanced than I was even before the injury. Definitely coming back to him if anything happens again!

I started PT due to a broken clavicle. Everyone was extremely helpful, and wanted to see me succeed in my rehabilitation. I’m completely healed now and have regained all my range of motion and strength.
