My last visit was on Friday May 9th 2025, i had a terrible experience starting with an old guy slamming a chair. Then i waited about 15 minutes past my appointment time and i finally went back around 1:30 which was an hour past my appointment time. Then Dr. Scott came in a grumpy and stressed out because of having a really long day and I had some concerns about what was going on with my body specifically my hands and my face and he literally didn’t even examine at all!!! All he did was shine a flashlight and said oh it’s nothing even though I was worried about what it is and if he could get rid of the problem right then and there and then he made me feel even more worse by saying have you ever thought about therapy and I’m like no why and he said rudely “well I’m not a doctor but i think you might want to talk to a therapist and then he laughed about it so I was upset and began to cry a little bit. So then he’s PA gave me a sticky note of acid even though I knew it wasn’t a wart so i walked out and I teared the sticky note and I threw it away and i drove away pissed off and felt like a freak because of Dr. Scott Craven!!!!! So therefore I will definitely not be coming back to this place ever again unless he’s fired actually never mind because I am done with University of Dermatology and Skin Care permanently I highly recommend not coming here to see him worst experience of my life

Not respectful of time. Arrived early to complete necessary paperwork. Was taken back 5 mins. after my appointment. Not bad! However, I then sat for 30 minutes. The PA finally came in, spent 5 mins. tops with me and that was it. Web MD was as useful without the $70 office visit.

Excellent. Highly recommend. Didn’t see the Dr., but his P.A. Is excellent. Nurses are as well. Very satisfied visit. They removed a cyst on my husband’s back. I did not expect them to do it on our first visit. We have Medicare and only cost $75. Pleased all the way around. Thank you to all. Pleasant experience. Reviewed what would happen and explained all my questions.

I was excited for this visit because of the reviews and I was completely disappointed. I dont typically review but didn't want anyone else to get false hope. The girls up front were wonderful. They were friendly, nice, welcoming...couldn't ask for better. When I went back the medical assistant was subpar initially and I kept thinking this will get better. The doctor came in never got close enough to look at the area of concern, never touched it or scraped the area for a real look at the skin. He had the assistant shine the light from across the room and then diagnosed me. I was given medication options. Left, went to pharmacy they were not there. One was to be compounded and called to specialty one was not. The pharmacy compounds, they let me know they had not received anything. Went back next day to give the assistant the benefit of the doubt, not there. Called the office, got the sweet girls up front was transferred to the assistant. She told me she had sent it in and gave me another pharmacy to call. I called, not called in. Said they would reach out to office. I called back, pharmacy stated they had not received a return confirmation of prescription. Here we are 2 weeks later, no meds, no better, no luck. Maybe im a one off I hope so but felt an honest no fluff review was warranted.

Staff and Doctors extrememly friendly, helpful and knoweledgeable. However, My apointment was at 8:30, I arrive at 8:15 and was finally taken back to get started at 9:45. My 2nd issue was I am self pay and paid in full prior to my appt (very high priced) . After I left, They called to tell me that my followup would cost additional 200+ to see the PA but I could have a nurse just look at it and no additiional cost.

The entire office staff is so friendly and helpful. Tammy is especially awesome, as she took care of getting me on specialty medication that was not covered by my insurance and kept me informed every step of the way.

They forgot to bill me for something they never followed up on. Now almost a year later another accounting firm had to be brought in to bill me. Somehow I'm on the hook for their negligence. Don't bother with these folks. Their rates are outrageously high and they don't bill insurance correctly. Find anywhere else to meet your dermatologist needs.

Can’t say enough amazing things about this office! I brought my teenage son in for his appointment and from the time of check in, Marissa was such a sweet and friendly ray of sunshine! The doctor we saw (Dr. Haun) was amazing with his treatment, super friendly and did a superb job - he made my son and myself feel very comfortable and explained everything very thoroughly! I ran across Tammy who was such a delight! Yes, I know all of their names because I called back to see who all I ran across because I wanted to personally recognize them in this review because I was blown away by the amazing experience we had! This was our first time here - coming from another Dermatologist where you feel rushed and like you are “just a number” and charging you a crazy amount only to feel like you didn’t get the treatment or time you deserved. This office definitely had a family feel and not that corporate push. I wanted to share this review because I work in the medical field and to have such an amazing experience from the time we walked in until the time we left is something that is hard to find. 5 stars!!!!! Highly recommend!!!!!

Dr Whalen is professional & personable. She doesn't do unnecessary treatments & she doesn't hawk products. I've gone to her for years and recommended her to others. The staff are all courteous and friendly. I never have to wait but a few minutes before I'm called back, and the waiting room isn't crammed full of people.
