My experience with Therapy South was exceptional! They are a small group housed in a nominal space that offers personalized and caring services. I got to meet each therapist and was given a therapist to monitor my sessions and progress as opposed to other physical therapy offices I've been to. I highly recommend them! Stephen

Can't recommend Therapy South enough! I came in for some joint issues in relation to a connective tissue disorder and was there twice a week for 6 weeks. My PT, Bradley, was fantastic (except when he made me do wall sits - because those are gross). He was super knowledgeable and made every session fun and engaging. The entire team there is incredibly friendly and collaborative. The sessions are super laid back and full of great conversation. I've seen a lot of improvement in my problem joints and can play piano for longer now without swelling and pain. You can't go wrong with any of the therapists here, and you'll adore Katie, who greets you at the front every time. Bradley said it best, "You have hEDS... you'll be back." And he's so right. I will definitely be returning to Therapy South for any future PT needs! In the meantime, I'm telling anyone I know who needs PT to go there! The best in Athens!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. To start with, Katie in the front office is fantastic. Knowledgeable and friendly. My physical therapist is Josh. Josh is great. He is knowledgeable, which is obviously the most important thing. He’s also prepared for anything. Each day brings different challenges and he can pivot and adjust the plan for the day quickly and easily. He Is a good motivator, but he also knows when to recognize somebody’s limits, which alleviates the fear of overdoing it or being injured. Don’t get me wrong, he doesn’t allow people to cruise by or slack off, he just knows how to not cross the line between getting a lot out of you and expecting too much. Like Josh, I have noticed that the other therapist are also warm and welcoming on top of being knowledgeable. If you want a place to do physical therapy, where you will not dread the appointment and will actually look forward to going and improving, I highly recommend Therapy South in Athens!

The staff are all both helpful and friendly. I’ve had therapy sessions with two of the therapist. They were both excellent. I highly recommend Therapy South. I’ve intentionally not used names in my review as I’m reasonably confident that all of their therapies are highly competent. I also appreciate the receptionist as she is always friendly and helpful, greeting you with a smile on her face.

Josh Bloodworth was my therapist and I couldn't have been happier. He's very knowledgeable, attentive to details and creatively flexible, constantly adding new elements and trying different approaches to find things that will do me the most good. I feel that I benefited enormously from my sessions with Josh (and the other staff and interns who assisted from time to time, all superb.) In addition to being thoroughly and capably professional, Josh is a warm, smart and caring person whom I came to value as a friend. I am being sent home now with a program of exercises that I can do on my own, and I'm gonna miss these folks.

I had vertigo so bad that it was literally making me sick. A friend of mine told me about therapy south. I kept thinking it's not going to help so I put it off for a while, and vertigo got worse. I went and Thank you Jesus I am so happy that I did. No more vertigo. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone that suffers with vertigo.
