The Wills
Overall, quite happy with the Stone Store. Bought a ton (literally, 2000 pounds) of medium sized river rocks from the Stone Store. 1. Did have to call twice to get some one (might not have called a third time) 2. Prices worked out well - price for the river rocks is approximately the same as bagged “pebbles” at Home Depot (a bit of apples to oranges) or about 40% less than “creek rocks” at Home Depot (more apple to apples) 3. Crew loaded me up very efficiently Overall good experience. You do however need a trailer (or possibly back of truck); I took a regular utility trailer, put down a tarp, covered with plywood then had it loaded with rocks, then secured with a bungee net and tarp on top.

Great products and very large selections and easy area to pick stuff up. No complaints there. Complaint is the workers. I have never felt so unwelcome. They are super unfriendly and blah. No one is welcoming in fact when I walked in one was sleeping at the desk and the 3 times I’ve been in it’s like your bothering them even though I’m dropping $300+ each trip. Thought maybe it’s cause I’m a girl and my husband had same experience. He was would ask a question and one of the guys would just point at a sample board without speaking and very rude. Got what we needed to finish our project and will not be back. Feel more welcome at McDonald’s. I guess friendliness in business has died. Super disappointed especially driving over an hour. Owners need to teach some manners to their younger workers.

Young guy at the counter wanted to charge $227 for 12 pieces of stone. When I objected, he changed the total to $49. No apologies, no explanations. You have been warned, buyer beware!

Was having alternator issues & was on my way to get it replaced but my car kept dying on me. Eventually turned in to their establishment, hoping to get a jumpstart to get me back on the road, but got an even bigger blessing instead! The guys told me I probably wouldn’t make it the 6 miles that I needed to go & were kind enough to switch out the new alternator I had with me right there in their parking lot! I hate that I didn’t catch the fellas names who helped me but thank you so much to the kind men with the orange truck & the blue F150! I can’t express just how thankful I am for y’all! Even though I wasn’t one of their customers, their willingness to help shows the kind of people they employ there. I can honestly say that The Stone Store has some of the best people you could ever come across & I’m sure they’ll get you everything that you need! Thanks again!

After 3 visits, everyone is friendly and helpful. Easy to get in and out and variety of rock is great. Good prices for loose rock and dirt. Delivery also went well several times. Advised me on how much my truck and trailer could safely carry.

I had an order of slate delivered to my house and in the process, a pallet broke and caused the slate container to break and block my neighborhood’s roadway. Bobby, who was making the delivery, refused to let me help clean up the mess (he said it was because I am the customer) and had the issue resolved within 30 minutes. Great service all around and it was very apparent that they care about the customer. 5 stars.
