just got kicked out of his store because I asked for the money he borrowed from me, 5 months ago, while I was in the store shopping for shoes. recently, i went in the store with a friend who wanted to buy shoes and had to wait to recieve any customer service because the store manager was in the back room talking to someone. I trusted the sneaker basement was a legitimate business but I will not return for anything other than the money I am owed.

Everyone I talk to has a horror story about Terrence "The Sneaker Guy" Jones. He'll borrow money and won't repay it. He'll consign shoes, get rid of the shoes, and then refuse to compensate the owner. This has gotten so bad that the folks at Wells Fargo told me that they had to shut down his bank account, that is, his PERSONAL account through which he was conducting business transactions...SHADY. I don't know who the actual owners are of this place, but they need to take some responsibility for their employees before this store goes under. On top of that, the very few amount of rare heat they are able to get their hands on is grossly overpriced..for example, charging $1,000 for a pair of Yeezy 350 V2s when the market value is just $650. I will never be seen at this store, and I have made sure that every single sneakerhead in Athens knows not to deal with this fraudulent scam artist who pretends he knows how to sell sneakers. Terrence and "The Sneaker Basement" will see their day in a court of law. This business's days are numbered.
