From their web site which is so not the truth. Please believe the 1 star reviews. Seriously!! We understand the difficulties and emotional struggles of having to leave the comfort of your home, and that is why our attentive staff is dedicated to facilitating smooth transitions and to delivering comfort and companionship with a warm, personal touch. My MIL has been made to sit in her soiled diapers for 8-10 hours. They want to put her in her bed at 4pm and we've been there at 2pm and she's not even out of bed. They dont answer the phone in the evening. They dont answer call lights. The CNA's ALL have horrible overworked and underhanded attitudes. They are always on the defense, and they even hide their name tags so you can't identify them. This place lacks joy and sympathy. Its a dark angry place spiritually. We are in the process of moving our Mom out of there. Update: We're gone, and thank God.

My mom is there now for therapy the place is extremely beautiful but don't let that fool you, my mom was there for 2 weeks and hadn't even gotten a shower until I said something, I have went at sat with her all day and nobody ever came in to check on her they let them sit in wet clothes, I got very ugly one afternoon because she was wet, I asked them to stop putting her bed up so high and leave the walker or wheelchair close to her so she can go to the bathroom if me or my nephew aren't there. They have awesome things for therapy but every time I go my mom is in the bed, Hello that's why she's there to build up her strength not stay in bed she could do that at home. But I'm sorry I have placed a camera in her room so I can have proof of everything that goes on with my mom, that's what my lawyer said for me to do

The facility was one of the nicest cleanest facilities I’ve seen. The staff was questionable, maybe over worked. But , the discharge was atrocious. I emailed the administrator for direction since I couldn’t get anyone on the phone and I never heard back. The social worker never contacted me ( the person to contact) for care once discharged. There was not a medical list given to the patient or myself, and my uncle was discharged with Lovenox injections. That medication should have been changed to a newer by month medication. Not to mention nursing wasn’t even ordered to follow up for the follow up. This could have been a very serious problem had I not known what to do. Be on top of your family members healthcare please.

My husband was there for rehab and everyone was so very nice and helpful. The nursing staff goes above and beyond what is required of them and I feel they really care for their patients. It takes special people to do what they do on an every day basis. The only problem I had was with the on-call weekend doctor not responding at all to a problem that my husband had and he had to wait until Monday to get help. I would recommend The Oaks to anyone needing a rehab facility.

My mother was recently there for rehabilitation from an emergency hip replacement. ( broken from a fall) The therapists ( OT and PT) as well as the floor nurses were amazing. The place is clean and well maintained. However, my mother has celiac disease and despite being told repeatedly during my tour that they could accommodate her dietary needs, they did not. She wrote on every menu No bread, No gravy, yet she was continuously served bread and gravy or she was given 6 pieces of sausage or a scoop of egg salad and nothing else. She lost 4 pounds while there and if we hadn't supplemented her diet with snacks and protein shakes from home she probably would have lost more. She also developed an infection while there and when confronted with written directions from the surgeon, the wound care nurse was completely unprofessional with us. There was also a complete lack of communication between the facility and the surgeon/ hospital. The ratio of CNA's to patients, while in compliance is way too low, my mother's wing was often filled and there was 1 CNA for all those patients.

My uncle suffered a broken hip and tail bone. He was here for all of 4 hours. He was horribly verbally abused or completely ignored the whole time. They also withheld his pain meds and I think they withheld them intentionally. He called us and told us how they were mistreating him so my sister took him home. While she was there they mistreated her in the same way. My uncle was so livid that he started having chest pains. I'm going to recommend to my uncle that he see an attorney. Please don't go here! Please don't trust them! Avoid these toxic, hateful people! BTW most of their positive reviews do not have any comments from the reviewer and the ones that do, read like an advertisement. They seem fake to me. Please don't go here.

The Oaks looks nice, and it stays clean. However, I think they are tremendously understaffed. I had a friend who stayed here for a couple months, and it took several talks with management for someone to actually check on him in the evenings.

My mom had a stroke Jan 2023. After a roller coaster of emotions and trials of options, we realized she needed more help than we could provide at home. She had a short stay at another nursing home and it was horrible. Needless to say, she was a little hesitant to go to another one. When The Oaks came open with a bed offer, I went to visit. I was impressed from the moment I pulled up. The facility is very clean. The staff is very friendly. They have always been receptive to my questions and if I asked if something could be done, they have been willing to accommodate if possible. There are lots of activities that are planned daily for the residents. The staff is really good about asking the residents if they want to participate. Mom loves playing bingo, having Zoe the therapy dog visit and getting to see the horses when they come. No place is perfect. But I have been overall pleased with mom's stay and care here. Her main CNAs and nurses know her very well and are able to take care of her and anticipate what she is going to need. I have gotten to know many of the residents and they all seem happy and well taken care of.

Not very dependable about getting their clients to their appointments with outside doctors. Don’t recommend at all. Good luck getting them to answer the phone
