I’ve had a great experience living here so far! I moved in August 25’ and it is my first and last year here unfortunately as I’m graduating :( Can say I have no complaints. The management are always trying to do their best to improve the state of living and the community. There are confirmed projects incoming too like the sauna, cold plunge, dining hall, and vast renovations in general. They are always trying to improve and make it the best space for the residents/students.

The Mark Athens is a decent place to live overall, but not without frustrations. The building itself is new and well-located, and the amenities look great on paper. My apartment is comfortable, and the proximity to downtown and campus is convenient. That said, management communication can feel very one-directional. They’re quick to send requests for positive reviews but slower to follow up on maintenance, billing, or account questions. The online systems are polished, but the human follow-through doesn’t always match. Utilities and account charges can be confusing, so it’s worth keeping your own records and screenshots of every payment or notice. Most issues do get resolved eventually, but it can take multiple emails or in-person visits. In short: The Mark isn’t terrible, but it’s not quite the premium experience the marketing suggests. If you move in, read the lease carefully, stay organized, and advocate for yourself early.

Would like to personally say, that Arjun who's at the front desk sometimes, is very helpful. First time I met him, he and some others helped move in my roommate's new couch. Which I had no idea that they would do that, found that to be really nice and convenient. However, I've had a couple issues recently and Arjun was able to help me resolve them. Even as of recent, he helped jump start my car when it was late. I really appreciate his help, Thank you to the Mark, and thanks again for your help Arjun!

The Mark is such an awesome place to stay. I would totally recommend living here. The amenities like the pool and the gym are like a resort. I also had such a great experience when Bella gave me a tour. She was super courteous and answered any questions that I had. She should definitely get promoted!

Genuinely a bad place to live. Quoted 1190 for rent, I pay 1370 a month to live here paying 60 in parking every month to have a slim chance to be able to park (reserved parking is 95 to park 5 floors up). Solution to this issue: do not live here please just go somewhere else I regret my lease every single day. Also if your friends want to park here they have to repay hourly parking every 7 hours. Goodluck with that!

Don't know about the newer buildings but nothing in the old building works. Our power goes out everytime we use the dryer and it still hasn't been fixed. It took them 40 hours to fix our AC when we first moved in, so our apartment was 88 degrees. Management is hard to connect with and won't listen to complaints either. The amenities may be great but I would rather have a working living space.

I lived at The Mark for two years. My first year was relatively smooth, aside from the hot tub being out of service for nearly the entire time. However, things went downhill during my second year. In February, I was unexpectedly issued $500 worth of parking tickets, placed directly in my mailbox. This happened because management failed to properly re-enter my vehicle into their system after it returned from the shop—I had been temporarily driving a different car. Despite having text messages proving I submitted the change correctly, they claimed they couldn’t find any record on their end and refused to cancel the tickets. The issue happened again after I got a new license plate. I went in person to update it with the front office, yet I still received hundreds of dollars in parking fines. It wasn’t until I insisted they review the security footage showing me walking into the office that they finally agreed to cancel them. There were also consistent issues with the elevators being out of service, sometimes for weeks at a time. For someone living on the 6th floor, that quickly became a major inconvenience. On top of that, my roommates were fined $75 each for not returning their rubber pool wristbands at the end of the lease—something that seemed unnecessary and petty, considering the bands have no ongoing use or value. If you’re looking to live downtown, I’d recommend checking out The Standard or The Rambler instead. I’ve heard significantly better things about both compared to my experience at The Mark.

I had an awesome tour at Marks Athens! Arjun was super friendly, welcoming, and really knew his stuff. He walked me through everything, answered all my questions, and made the whole experience easy and comfortable. You can tell he genuinely cares and wants students to feel at home. Big thanks to Arjun for making the visit such a positive one!

Started living here at the start of August this year. Has been a great experience. I live in Building 100 and haven't really had any concerning issues for me or my roommates. I can understand that some things will go wrong for others, but I can gladly say its a 5 star for me!

The Mark of Athens is such a great apartment! The basketball court, the huge swimming pool on the roof, and the comfortable living quarters are only a few of the awesome amenities included. They have some great staff and my guy Arjun was there to answer any questions I had. Would definitely recommend this place!
