The employees are not professional. They do not come up to you and ask if you need help or if you need help finding something. They just twiddle their fingers and stare at their phones. They just look at you and laugh as they did to me when I had to load lots of long pieces of lumber on a short trailer in a small truck. Little did they know I got home safely as did the lumber so eat that.

I have an ProX account and my visit was absolutely disgraceful. I encountered an elderly gentleman who needed assistance and I tried to get a young lady to assist him, and I pointed him out and she then decided it was better to flirt with another associate because apparently finding out where to meet up after work was more important than helping the older gentleman. I pointed that out to a different associate, and the other associate didn’t know what to do about it. They just stood there looking at me and was like, “okay.” I am beyond upset that poor man and I were ignored by not one but by three associates.

I used to get frustrated going to my local HD because, well if you need to get a piece of trim for example, the picture below is what you are dealing with. Then one day my neighbor said that HD hires a lot of special needs folks so next time don't be disappointed, just lower your expectations. He said they even promote them into management positions at the store, which explains so much. To that I say bravo HD, I just wished you advertised that more so that people would know of all the great work you are doing. Special shout out to the associate who during the pandemic sat on a pile of sheetrock by the contractor entrance, not letting people in the store that way, yet refusing to help anyone load up their vehicles. That is the type of work ethic that makes this store so great. Keep it up!

I brought it in an old pool table light that I needed help wiring. All the staff were glad to help me. Jake from hardware came all the way over and fixed it up in no time. He was very kind, capable, and willing to help. Awesome workers!

Will was so helpful, not only was he quickly servicing people at the register but he also helped load my car up after no one came to help with loading and 3 other employees sat around the other register talking. Hopefully Will can get some recognition for going above and beyond for customers while others were not helping at all.

I placed a curbside pickup order and they don’t acknowledge you at the store or in the app. I let the store manager know — he blew it off and made excuses about them have technical issues. He said he’d address it. Nobody acknowledged my arrival or thanked me for my business. I sat over 20 minutes, logged three phone calls and the phone rang without answer. GTA 6 will come out before they bring out your curbside pickup order. Don’t bother calling Home Depot Customer Care because they can only help you with online orders— not a problem in-store.
