This is such a magical and beautiful place, especially when their light show is up. The Gardens are great for everyone, too. We bring our daughter, my hubby and I will stroll around, and it is great for a date with the girls. I highly recommend joining as a Friend of the Garden. And if you ever book an event in their gorgeous (and historically rich) event space, you have to get your catering from BasKat Catering (they never disappoint ✨️🎉)

Can't rave enough about our State Botanical Gardens. It's absolutely beautiful & well cared for. This weekend was the opening celebration of the brand new Alice Richards, Children's Garden. They've done a fabulous job on it. Our kids love it here. We love taking them in the main garden to experience all the beautiful gardens & unique flowers. We always get the prettiest pictures here & feel closer to God than ever while surrounded by all these creations that are stunning. The girls absolutely loved playing in the children's garden after, we can't wait to go back after each visit. Thanks for a job well done State Botanical Gardens!

Serene, relaxing, large, surrounded by plants and trees from all around world. Especially wonderful collection of orchids and other plants in the indoor garden. Many trails to choose from. Highly recommended!!!

I love this place! You can go literally every month and see totally different plants. This place rivals the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, and many even larger gardens, because it is like lovingly attended by an army of UGA students and retired gardeners. There are several hiking trails off the main gardens also, up to about 5 miles round trip. Definitely a great place to take visitors, the family, or just yourself for a peaceful day.

Beautiful garden to walk around, relax, take photos of nature, family, etc. They have also added a really nice Children’s are where they can play, water flowers and more. Worth a visit if you’ve never been or haven’t been in a while.

Had our wedding here! It was everything my wife and I could have dreamed of. The gardens are great for casual walks any time of year, and are super for special occasions as well. Nature provides its own decoration here, and it is expertly cared for.
