I don’t usually write reviews, but I just had to say how wonderfully I was treated at st Mary’s. Nurse allie and amira were absolute angels — so patient, gentle, and kind. They made me feel truly cared for, not just like another patient. Dr. Yancey was also excellent and took the time to explain everything so I could understand. I left feeling safe, respected, and grateful. Thank you all for your kindness — it really touched my heart.

1000% recommend this hospital. I’ve given birth to both my boys there, and the family birth center was amazing. All the nurses I had during my last stay-Kaitlyn C., Autumn T., Mallary K., Emily D., and Tina L-made me and my baby feel so cared for. Shout out to Autumn for catching my hemoglobin dropping when I didn’t think my vitals looked that bad and asking Dr. Sepesi about a transfusion! Most recently, I had an ER visit and Allie K and I believe her name was Laura assisted as my RN’s and they made the best of a bad situation, especially since I walked in right at shift change. Even the night shift technician that got all my vitals and me set up (don’t remember her name, but she was about to leave on Sunday morning) as comfortable as possible even though she had minutes left on her shift. I’ve never had a bad encounter here, and I highly recommend them!

Best hospital we’ve been too! We live in hartwell and we’ve experienced a ton of pitfalls servers at the hospital in Lavonia and Anderson. Most definitely worth the drive, Dr. Hicks took great care of my mother as well as his nurse Isaiah and Josie! Hamilton is the sweetest guest relations person ever, made this experience for us a 10/10! Worth the drive every time not one time have they disappointed us.

Everyone involved in my wife’s experience was great. Special attention to Dr Burgess and RN Kylan Making both of us feel comfortable with the entire process. Hamilton in guest services made certain our experience was as good as a hospital experience can be especially In an emergency situation. Hats off to the entire crew.

I took my husband to the ER yesterday. This was the first time I have taken him to St. Mary's instead of the larger hospital in the area. The ER staff was wonderful, the PA and doctor took the time to explain everything in detail. Tests needed were completed immediately, we didn't have to wait hours for someone to show up to complete them. The nurses came to check on him constantly. I have heard negative things about this hospital after having moved to Madison County in 2009. I am sorry that I didn't take him there sooner over the years. I won't hesitate to return, should we need to seek emergency help again.

It's always like that, I just decided to record it this time, although the service is High in excellence and extraordinary. I love it, and (All ) caregiving, sincere very professional . It's just this "One ! Major Issue " always with me , Sanitation of the emergency( bathroom )waiting area is disturbing and very unhealthy. Making the entire Hospital misrepresented receiving a very Low rate and opinionates like me, give Their honesty. So Do something about it. and STOP the spreading of GERMS! at The place representing The HEALTHCARE System . Thank you

Had an outpatient surgery at St. Mary's in Athens. From the time I walked into the door till I was discharged- everything was amazing. Every person i came in contact with was kind and extremely helpful. A special thanks to Allyson in short stay. She took great care of me! She explained everything to me and you can really tell that she loves her patients. I hope she gets to see this review! Thanks again St. Marys!

I just wanted to thank the mammography team -Dr. Siewe, Ashley and Denise, Haley and the techs for their professionalism, thoroughness and kindness. It’s very helpful to have everything explained to you patiently and step-by-step and the kindness made a huge difference. I appreciate you!

This hospital’s case worker system is insubordinate, Negligent, lackluster, and pathetic. My grandfathers case worker, SONYA, should be looking for another career path because she clearly has no idea how to do her job. My grandfather has been delayed and held as a practical prisoner to this hospital. Sonya has been completely MIA over a week. She is supposed to be an advocate for her patients to get them into rehab so they can receive the therapy that they need for recovery. Sonya has direct access to our family members insurance information and provided an entire list of rehab facilities for my grandfather. It was our job to go through all the facilities, research reviews and weigh out our options, then return with a select few options to apply for. Little did we know, Sonya gave us a large list of facilities THAT WERE ALL OUT OF NETWORK… EVERY SINGLE ONE. My grandfather was continually denied from each facility, one by one. Nurses and physicians were confused, we were confused. The process was drug on for days and days with no explanation from Sonya. We requested multiple times via Nurses and Physicians to speak with Sonya, and she never came to speak with us to figure out why my grandfather was being denied time and time again. The only time we saw her was in the hallway.. it took them OVER 2 WEEKS to even get my grandfather applied to the correct facility for rehab.. this place is an absolute joke. After talking to several nurses and doctors, they even admitted that we got assigned to the worst case manager possible. So even the staff of the hospital knows that she is insubordinate…. But SHE STILL HAS A JOB? They do not care about any of their patients or their well being. ST Mary’s, don’t respond to me review with some automatic generated response. Get my grandfather the care he needs. You know better.

Alicia B. at same day surgery for patient check-in was an absolute joy. She was incredibly kind to my mom as we checked her in for surgery. You can tell she values the patient experience and truly made a difference in my mom’s day. Additionally, the female security guard at arrival was wonderful as well.
