My wife ordered a chess board and set from these guys as an anniversary gift last year. I haven't played in some years, but always wanted a custom set that really showed an appreciation for a game that I love to play and wanted to teach my kids. This set is amazing. The craftsmanship that went into it is a great tribute to the game itself. Caribbean maple and blue. What a sexy board and set. Unfortunately, I had a piece break. I emailed Aaron( top notch guy) and asked about purchasing a replacement piece or set. He said that he had moved on to making glass and no longer made the resin pieces any more. A little distraught, as these were all made together and for each other. Aaron was out of town, but when he got back, in the back of a drawer in his shop sat one single piece of the same color of my set. And it was the piece I needed!! He let me know he had it and offered to ship out, first thing... for free! These truly do great work and really take pride in their work. As a navy vet and police officer, I really appreciate that. Their Facebook page is great too, as they're always trying new colors and doing neat stuff. Thanks guys, and thanks for saving my set!!!

The Chess board is stunning and their final product is 100% proof that he takes full pride in their work. We leave the board out on display right now, (I can't decide on what pieces I like enough, to really showcase this board) Every person who comes to my home loves the board and some have ordered. Aaron's workmanship is exceptional. He hand-picked the wood for our table and worked with us to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. He's great to work with, meets deadlines and you can tell he takes extreme pride in his craft.
