Ashley Galletta was such a huge help for my baby! She is extremely knowledgeable and perfect for infants. She set realistic goals for us and helped us navigate trouble latching for breastfeeding and bottle feeding evaluation. My child has seen such a tremendous improvement in just a few short months with the exercises Ashley taught us. I could not recommend her and the team more!

She was very thorough and took the time to fully assess our son to get to the root of why he could not breastfeed. She helped educate us through the process of deciding if we should go for a rerelease and helped connect us with a provider that prioritized function for the rerelease. It was truly a blessing to get to work with Ashley.

We starting seeing Dr. Ashley when my baby was two weeks old. He was having difficulty nursing and drinking from a bottle. Her treatment helped him to drink milk properly. She helped him when he struggled to transition to solids and taught him to chew properly. Dr. Ashley’s experience and paramount knowledge is invaluable and her services are superior to several other places we tried. Her bedside manner is great. I never felt judged and always felt like we were on the same team. If you are looking for feeding and/or speech therapy, you can stop your search. All the therapists including the OTs work together to optimize time and treatment. It doesn’t get any better than RightStart!

We had a great experience with Right Start with both of our babies. We were referred to Ashley by our IBCLC and Pediatrician for feeding evaluations after significant breastfeeding difficulty related to tongue/lip tie. Ashley did thorough evaluations, explained everything to us, helped us connect with appropriate providers when needed, and continued to work with our babies before and after their tongue tie release procedures. Thanks to Ashley’s expertise, both our kids had/are having successful infant feeding experiences :)

My daughter was struggling with weight gain starting from the time she was born. I was supplementing after nursing to help her gain weight because she was unable to transfer enough milk from me on her own. I was referred to Ashley at Right Start Therapy to see if she had any oral ties, She did a very thorough examination, and confirmed my baby had a tongue tie. She referred us to Athens Dentistry for Children to have a tongue tie laser procedure. Ashley was able to do therapy with my baby’s tongue to help strengthen it before and after her tongue tie procedure! My baby went from transferring 0.5 oz of milk to over 3 oz each time she nurses! Because of her, we were able to continue our breastfeeding journey!! Highly recommend! Everyone in her office is so sweet, and very personable!

Kelly has been and still is a dream to work with. I can tell she deeply cares for my son’s progress as well as who he is. A truly inspiring SLP. I’m rating 2 stars for billing. Not only is it hard to get ahold of them, we were told we’d receive weekly invoices. It’s frustrating that multiple sessions are piled on. We’re expected to understand the excuses as to why, but still pay a large amount promptly. Out of our control, but has forced us to move to one session weeks.

Ashley (infant feeding specialist) saw my son when he was a new born for a few months. He had a tongue tie and couldn’t breastfeed well, so we were having to supplement him with formula a lot. Ashley was fantastic, and really worked with both him, my partner and I, to get to my goal of him to be able to transfer more when he breastfed. She was also a wealth of information about the tongue tie release process, which I was initially skeptical of. She explained everything very clearly and patiently, listened to my concerns and where I was coming from, and I never felt pressured or unfairly steered into making any decisions I wasn’t ready for. If you have concerns about your infants oral abilities, I really can’t recommend her enough.

Ashley was an absolute godsend to our family. Our son was born with a tongue tie and breastfeeding was extremely painful- almost unbearable. Because it was so difficult we worried he wasn’t transferring enough milk so we were referred to Ashley through a breastfeeding support group. We went for a consult with Ashley when he was about 3 weeks old. She was so informative and knowledgeable and so gracious towards us and our son. We moved forward with a tongue tie release a few weeks later and continued to see Ashley for therapy for the next 2.5-3 months. We just “graduated” about a month ago. Our breastfeeding journey was completely changed because of her and getting the release. No more pain or tears. Our son is doing so well and we are so happy as a family. She gave us such an incredible gift through her work with us and we love her forever! If you are in a similar situation- please please find your way to her!

My son began to have issues latching during breastfeeding that became bad enough we had to resort to triple feeding. We were recommended to Right Start Therapy, and I feel so fortunate we were. We saw Ashley (feeding therapy) and Ali (myofascial therapy) and they were so knowledgeable, thorough, gentle, and kind. It felt like a lifeline at a really hard moment in our lives. I’m deeply grateful to be able to say that we are back to exclusively breastfeeding from the chest and I know it is because of Ashley and Ali’s work. If we ever need more help, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
