I moved into balcony unit at Rambler in Oct of 2024 and noticed that when it rained, water was coming in through the door, but it mostly stayed on the weatherstrip. I asked maintenance and they said that's just how the doors were built. Summer of 2025, more water started coming in, I put in a work order, worried about the water coming in causing damage, and they said it was complete. I got to campus on Aug 12th and there was (black?) mold forming above the balcony door. I reported this to the leasing office the next morning and they had me move out asap to the unit above so they could start remediation the next day. I went back down a couple days later, no work had been done, and the mold doubled. They didn't start work until Aug 29th, so I'm worried the mold spread up the wall into my new unit. I was told the units above (the new one they put me in) all had the same issue and they were going to recaulk the doors the next day. The unit I moved in to had obvious water damage, but I was assured the walls were dry and they were going to replace the drywall, then they were just going to paint over it, then nothing. Since these apartments all had the same problem, water was obviously still coming in every time it rained, and even worse than the original unit. I went down a couple days later, since nothing had been done still, and was told they would tell the manager. Nothing happened again, so I went down twice a week for two weeks to show pictures and videos of rain running down the door and pooling. I sent an email with pictures and videos showing the water coming in from the top and gaps under the door (which also lets lots of hot air in that contributed to the mold), but never got a response. I talked to them a couple days later and they were surprised the drywall wasn't fixed, and said the door just needed a new door sweep and it would be an easy fix. Every visit, they wrote everything down and said they put in an urgent maintenance request, but almost a month later, nothing has happened. The water gets worst every time; it has started streaming in and pooling under my rug, so I put down buckets and towels, and run a dehumidifier when it rains. The leasing office workers are so nice, but nothing ever gets done. Other problems that I mentioned during these visits: bathroom fan not working, loud buzzing sound of ac that needs to be replaced, and ants, have also not been addressed at all. I know the office is busy with move in, but don't apologize for all these problems, tell me you'll address them if you're not going to, and then not communicate at all. For almost $2,000/month, I shouldn't be scared every time it rains.

I had such a great experience at The Rambler Apartments! The staff was warm and welcoming, and Abisola in particular was an absolute delight to work with. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and genuinely cared about answering my questions and making sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. It’s rare to come across someone so personable and professional at the same time. Thanks to her, the whole experience felt smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The staff at Rambler ultimately made this experience worthwhile! So helpful with any and all questions, very kind whether it was via email, text or my initial tour. Can’t wait to live here come August! (pics are from my tour of their 2x2 showroom)

I had a wonderful experience touring with Abisola, one of the leasing agents at The Rambler. From the very beginning, she was welcoming, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the property and the leasing process. She took the time to answer all of my questions in detail and made sure I felt comfortable with every step along the way. What stood out the most was her attentiveness; she really listened to what I was looking for in a new apartment and guided me toward the best options without any pressure. Her friendly personality made the entire process stress-free and even enjoyable.

Christina was fantastic during my tour of the apartment. She was welcoming, professional, and made the whole process enjoyable. She highlighted all the best features and really helped me picture myself living here. The Rambler is a stunning apartment complex, modern, and beautifully designed. It truly stands out compared to others I've seen.

I recently toured The Rambler and had the best experience thanks to Abisola. She was so welcoming, answered all of my questions, and really took the time to show me everything. The pool, gym, and community spaces looked amazing, but what stood out most was how enjoyable she made the whole visit.

The Rambler is a beautiful property with 5-star amenities and staff. The building is an easy 10-minute walk to campus. A special thank you to Abisola for a fun tour.

My apartment is nice, but it doesn’t make sense to me how I’m paying all this money to live here just to not be able to get parking in the garage. How do you build an apartment complex with two buildings and can’t even accommodate every person who has a lease a spot in the garage? I shouldn’t have to be playing where’s Waldo for a parking spot in my own complex. Also, we can’t even park on the first level because they just reserved it for retail customers…It just doesn’t make sense. The street parking isn’t any better. Why are there so many fire lanes? I just had to pay a ticket because I parked right by the yellow line but there’s little to no parking for residents! As a lady who’s under 5’5 and 120 lbs, I shouldn’t have to be walking downtown AT NIGHT , by myself just to get to my car. That’s a safety hazard. They need to do better with the parking around here. Build another garage or something. Us students shouldn’t have to go through this.
