Project safe could use a good cleaning it was dirty, and had a horrible smell. However I love the help that they give in the community. There we’re little to no plus size clothing available, and when we first arrived a dog was in the store.

This store really puts their money where their mouth is. I just witnessed 2 homeless people receiving many items and being so grateful for the help. They were given sleeping bags, gloves, jackets, etc. You can be sure when you spend here that the poor are receiving help with your assistance. It feels good to be a direct help with total assurance.

I loved this thrift store for years. Just went in and saw a dress tagged "vintage dress" for $45. Not a designer brand. Just a 90s brand tag. I genuinely cannot believe how expensive this store has gotten. I understand a slight price adjustment for increased quality in an item, but the prices are too unsustainable. Just seems like a Depop storefront now.

Stopped by for the first time Saturday to donate. Decided to look around & I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and the employee working was helpful. I Left with a bag of silk & cotton tops/skirts also a few accessories including leather belts all for under $50!

Accepted a rent check from Project Safe for a victim needing shelter. Victim did not pay rent the next month, now having to go through a 30-60 day dispossessory/eviction proceeding to have her leave. I would really like to help people in these situations but this has been a horrible experience. If you think you want to rent to one of these tenants, do a background check on the tenant. Project Safe is not liable for any amount other than the payment for the first month's rent.

I've been coming here for over 10 years now and recently this place has become a boutique shop instead of a thrift store. I used to be able to clothe my children in good quality clothing for a great price but now everything is individually priced and those prices are outrageous. Not only children's clothing, but books, shoes, bags, furniture, all have become almost unaffordable. Saw a dress priced at $30! Is this still the best thrift store in Athens? Not so sure anymore.

Agree with most recent review. The prices have gone way up here for a thrift store! Not sure who is coming up with these prices but just saw a throw blanket for $15 and a pair of men's shorts for $10! I always bring my nice donations to this shop and used to shop here all the time but can't support them anymore with these greedy prices sadly.

The prices are too high for a thrift store!! Please reconsider your pricing to make shopping there affordable again!

Low key one of the best thrift stores in Athens with ACTUAL thrift prices…obviously the mission is amazing and I’m happy to spend my money to help support the work.
