TRAUMATIC VISIT. First, felt like I was visiting a third world country medical office in America and this is why. Over thirty minutes to get back for a simple shot appointment, no check up. My child was covered in a new rash that I didn't realize until I removed their pants to get ready for the shot. Asked for our Dr Rodriguez to look at the rash before the shots, then sat in a room that felt 90 degrees with no air at all for over fifteen minutes sweat pouring down my face and back and on my child. Dr Rodriguez did not come and instead the nurse said that it was a new rash caused by hand foot mouth appearing a month after my child had a very mild case of hand foot mouth. Maybe from the vaccines your office just gave my child two weeks ago? Maybe some other virus such as strep? Nope, no one cared whatsoever there. Then that nurse told me to hold my child's arms down while she gave the shot. Not only did she give both shots in the same leg, but also without an ounce of bedside manner. It looked like it was the first shot she had ever given anyone before. In the year I have had my child getting shot after shot at Sunshine Pediatrics and CHOA, never have I seen a shot given in such a brutal painful way. The nurse stabbed them into the thigh, my child was pushing upwards with their leg into the shot to try to get away. It was absolutely horrific and that nurse needs to be immediately trained on how to properly give a shot to a baby or leave the pediatric field, I suggest the latter. Dr. Rodriguez is no pro either, a professional doctor that constantly reiterates that all their useful information for new parents did not come from blogs is a joke. I have requested my records to be moved from this horrible office twice since July and nothing has happened. I want our records. Now. Worst pediatric doctor and nursing staff and overall office I have ever experienced in my entire thirty-five years alive. Do not recommend unless you don't care about your children's experience at a doctor.

Dr. Rodriguez is an exceptional physician for my children. She is dedicated to a wholistic approach to my children’s health and development. The office is clean and comfortable at all times. Every nurse, doctor, and receptionist I have encountered has been friendly and patient as I juggle my kiddos and check in at the same time. I am overall very impressed, and even more thankful, for the care my children receive here.

AllThe nurses here were incredibly attentive and helpful to both me and my child. With just two weeks until I have another baby, they have provided tremendous support for my two-year-old. Doctor Rodriguez has given the best and most attentive care I've experienced from a pediatrician. She truly took the time to get to know both my child and me. I'm very thankful that I've found a great pediatrician for my children.
