I been trying to see the doctor for over a month. I went here 11 years ago my experience was great, but now you can never get them to answer the phone. The African American receptionist needs to be fired because obviously she doesn’t like her job. She told me I had to verify pregnancy so I went back to my hometown where it was free at the pregnancy center they say that I can’t use that paperwork (crazy right) I’m 16 weeks pregnant and showing how much more verification you need and I’m on pregnancy insurance. So I called yesterday to come in there office again to do my pregnancy verification she simply said come Wednesday at 2:45 and let’s not forget that I call Tuesday, I drove a hour to get there just for her to say your appointment next Wednesday and just turned around in her chair Very Rude.

My wife and I went through them. We brought up her symptoms to several Dr's. They ignored almost every thing that was said. They dismissed it at every turn, and misdiagnosed preclampsia! We were at our apt that Monday bringing up signs and she delivered the next Wednesday 6 weeks early! I have never seen such incompetence in a practice. Spoke to serveral attorneys saying we won't have a case on them. We are extremely upset and will never recommend them. They didnt even give you the proper information you need. Joke absolute joke. This could have been much more severe to both her an our child! Our son is now in NICU and she is struggling terribly thinking that she did something wrong due to their lack of competence.

Absolutely ABYSMAL treatment. And incorrect treatment. Came in with symptoms related to menstrual irregularity and pain. When i had a panic attack/trauma response during a pelvic exam, I was treated like an inconvenience and the doctor was incredibly annoyed with an uncontrolled reaction. This was triggered by the painful way the exam was done. When I called after having severe and extreme reactions to birth control, I was talked down to and condescended until I hung up in sobs. I was lied to about treatment options and treated like I had no clue about the symptoms I was experiencing in my own body. I found another doctor who DIDNT cause me severe pain during examinations and told me i had options that this clinic was either withholding from me or lying to my face about. I’m BEGGING anyone to think twice before making appointments here. That is, if you can even get then on the phone or to call you back. Extremely inefficient to get in contact with.

I cannot express my gratitude enough for the midwives/Nurses/OB’s here. I’ve been coming to this practice since 2012 when I was pregnant with my first. I currently have 4 children and pregnant with my 5th. I’m 35 yrs old and plus size as well. I’ve NEVER been talked to about being overweight or made to feel gross like some of the previous reviews stated. I hate that for those moms, but for me I can say these woman have always made me feel great. Mrs. Toni is a blessing from God himself. That woman is my saving grace and I love her as if she were a mother to me. She has been by my side with every delivery, even on her off night she came. Mrs. Delrose was an amazing midwife as well (I’m sad she’s no longer there) Mrs. Sandra is a doll, love her to pieces to! Mrs. Paula is stern but she’s great! There was another one back in 2019 I loved but can’t remember her name-she had been there for years too. The new ones I’ve met Megan and Amy have been amazing midwives as well. The care, the treatment & the overall experience of every time I come is more than top tier. Thank you!

I don't think I have ever left a review before, but I felt the need here. I'm 35 and having my first pregnancy, and my expectations for healthcare were maybe a little too high for this place. The front desk women are rude, I met 4 midwives and 3 were ok, but the 4th was truly awful. I'm a plus size girl and some of the comments, as well as having me stand on the scale a SECOND time just to double check... were truly upsetting. I'm old enough that I know I'm a big girl... I don't need someone assuming I'm a lazy bum just because I'm not a size 0. The scheduling woman on the way out is the WORST and has the WORST attitude, most of the people in this office do no belong in customer service and ABSOLUTELY not with pregnant women. I moved on to another office at 20.5 weeks because leaving your OB office in angry or sad tears every time is truly the worst experience.

I’ve gone here for both of my pregnancies, all of the midwives are great!! I’ve only had great experiences with all of them and would highly recommend them to any expectant mother. (We really love Amy!!)

The midwives here are always so nice and patient. The office is clean. There's pretty art on the walls. There's a bathroom in the lobby, as well as a phone if you don't have one. They take care of women who are pregnant or who already are, with gynecology as well, for women's checkups. There's sonogram imaging. In the lobby there is a children's playing area, for younger children. They are conveniently located behind Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital, off Prince Avenue.

Wow — was so surprised to see negative reviews — I have always had excellent care from the nurse midwives here! I saw nearly everyone in the practice when pregnant and giving birth in 2006 and Toni was with me when I delivered (following the Bradley method). We moved out of state for several years and when we came back I went right back to this practice! Now I regularly see Sarah H. and she is fantastic! I love how much time the nurse midwives spend with each patient and their holistic approach to health! It’s a higher standard of care than most physicians can provide. Everyone there has always been great from the front desk to billing to the practitioners themselves.

I have been seeing Sarah Harris for almost 2 years and I could not be happier. From day 1, she has taken my pain seriously. She makes me feel heard and is never dismissive. She is very knowledgeable and clearly enjoys what she does!! I had a horrible experience with an IUD insertion at a different hospital a few years ago, and was SO nervous to get a new one in. Sarah and her nurse (I believe her name is Tamika) were SO comforting and caring. They made the experience as painless as possible, and made sure I was okay every step of the way. I am more than satisfied with the level of care I’ve received from the staff here!
