Every appointment I've had seems the Drs and staff are laughing and cutting up between patient care. Honestly makes me feel uncomfortable... I don't remember things so easily and sometimes struggle with finding the right words to say. I just really like to feel my doctor is there for me and I really hope that can change

Had to have my gallbladder removed. Although the ER wait might be a little long; everyone was extremely professional and as efficient as possible with everyone being super friendly. The nurses and doctors are amazing and make sure you are always as comfortable as possible. Thank you for helping me get better and back on my way to be healthy again!

Mom was checked into the ER 9/21/2024 with heart problems, high blood pressure and AFib. The doctors and nurses were excellent in the way they handled her. Everything was done in a professional and gracious manner. They took time to talk to us and explain everything. We appreciate them so very much. We highly recommend Piedmont Athens.

Is true what the other reviews are saying this nurses and doctors are the worst of the worst no help at all they don't even keep record of medicine u are on plus they charge u 2 bills cos they say u used the hospital equipment and they clinic when u don't even go to the hospital and they don't do much for u cos u get out the same way u go in with a lot of pain and on top u come out stress out they say treat Dr and nurses right but they are super rude themselves and the pharmacy is also horrible u go and they tell u if u have questions and if u say yes and ask the person get angry and yells at u like they had a bad day and just find out who to take it on

4th floor orthopedics 07/16/2024 5:05 PM, room 4273. Nurse was very disrespectful. Very poor communication skills, very unprofessional. (Tiffany) Discussed concerns with charge nurses and follow ups with Doctors in order! Friday 12th -Monday 15th was a blessing regarding all medical personnel members starting with Megan! Dr. Baker was phenomenal! The 1🌟 was based off of one individual only! Otherwise it would have been a much higher rating!

Do NOT use this clinic! They bill everything here as an "outpatient" charge, not an office visit, and even if you have insurance you will end up with hundreds of dollars in medical bills. It's basically a practice facility for residents and you will have to go through everything again with their supervisor after you talk to your resident doctor. I was there for almost three hours even though I got into a room relatively quickly. Super slow, not the best care, billing office is condescending and rude, and you WILL end up with a massive bill. Beware. (edit- they also are completely incompetent with mental healthcare and refused to prescribe me medication that I've been on for over seven years. I've never had this issue at another practice with any other physician).

I wouldnt recommend this location, some of the people are great but overall it is a disaster. Arrived 10 minutes early for a routine follow-up, I waited for 30 minutes in the waiting room, then had weight and BP checked. Waited another 30 minutes still without being seen. Decided to leave without being seen by the PCP, and told the checkout person I did not see the doctor; was charged for my copay anyway. I will be looking for another PCP, my time is important to me, and if you can't keep an appointment, then I will look for someone who can.

I can confirm that they charge outpatient hospital billing for what should be a primary care appointment. It does not say this on their website and nobody says anything when you pay your copay. There is a 8.5x11 piece of paper near the counter that says this but nothing else, so you pay your 30$ copay then find out weeks later that there's just some adjustments from insurance and you owe 261$. Call your insurance and they're like "yeah don't know why they billed that as outpatient hospital sorry"
