I forgot to leave a review my first visit a year ago so I don't remember names, however the ladies in the front were very pleasant. Called today for questions about my glasses & a possible appointment, Isabel provided great customer service today as well. I'm pleased with the staff at this location.

Made an appointment quickly and I rescheduled very easily. You will be in and out if you need to be. Very clean. Very easy location. Nice staff and doctors. My representative was Lhea. There is a pretty good selection of glasses and has trendy ones as well. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. I definitely recommend this location.

I’ve been a customer here for years , but I won’t be returning unless I have an issue with my glasses since I purchased the protection plan. I decided to use my insurance towards the glasses and pay out of pocket for the contacts. It’s going on a month, and I still haven’t received MY glasses which costed $332.75 after insurance, but what I did receive were someone else’s glasses..different frame with my name and prescription supposedly. I tried them on for curiosity, couldn’t see a lick! I picked out different frame , and I’m waiting for those to come back with no ETA. As for the contacts, I couldn’t see well out of the trial pair which I didn’t wear till the next day. I called immediately to let them know and was given an appointment the following Monday. When I arrived , I was told l wasn’t on the schedule and the doctor was out which was a major inconvenience to me. I asked them to please give me my previous lenses. A couple of days later, I was told they would order the contacts without another eye exam. It’s been an ordeal. The 3 stars is for the professional of the staff thus far in this ongoing situation..

I've been to this place three times now and every time it's the same thing. The only thing that had me coming back was the exam. With the glasses it's a complete rip off. My prescription didn't change the first two years and my insurance covers the same thing as it did previously as it does this third time as well. The first two times I selected frames that were $150 which was under what my insurance covers. I selected all of my options and was told with insurance I would pay $190!! I went ahead and did it because I needed glasses. The second time I went after I was eligible for frames and lens again. I got $150 frames and all the exact same options my insurance still covers the exact same stuff but the price went up to $280 seems a little weird, but it gets worse both times I was told the glasses would be done in a week and a half. 3 weeks go by and they still didn't have them. So this leads to this third time coming in. My prescription changed but I opted for $160 frames and all the exact same options and I still have the same insurance mind you. The price jumped up to $300. Now I'm sitting on the 4th week. No glasses and keep getting told my lens have not come in. Says the option i chose is on back order. I thought this was weird. So I contacted 2 other providers and a different pearle vision store and was told that nothing like that is on back order. Even the pearle vision 20 miles away said yeah that option is not on back order we get them back within a week. So I go to vision works. Tell them everything I opted for all the options I picked with pearle and calculating their price for lens it's was $145 dollars after insurance. This place makes their own prices up. I even checked with my insurance what they cover plus co pay and it should of been around that range not the $300 I was charged. I will not be coming back to this store again. I will be calling the BBB about this.

I have never met a more across-the-board unfriendly passive aggressive staff. The doctor's exam was thorough. However, after spending $600 on top of my insurance, I'm still left with a contact lens prescription and a pair of glasses that frankly don't work. I even provided the frames. My most recent experience was when I noticed one of the lenses was cracking. I was told to bring it in that it would probably be covered because it was a compression crack and after I surely woman decided to stop chewing her lunch and snatched the glasses out of my hand, they told me it was not covered. I hate leaving bad reviews but I cannot think of a better way to inform everyone else of my experience.

HORRIBLE customer service! Called and made an appointment for the following day, show up early and they have no record of my appointment. Great. So I wait over an hour for their next available. Front desk person is rude and disrespectful. Can't get my trial contacts that day of course, have to come back next week and get them. Great. I do that. Then another week. It's just ridiculous the amount of time I've had to waste for a simple prescription. Was sitting waiting to be seen yet again and the front desk women were there mocking customers and belittling them. Will be calling corporate about this experience and letting them know how those who represent their brand are treating people. The doctor herself is not the issue but everyone on her staffing is.

Finally found my glasses after visiting & looking for that pair I liked after 4 other locations!!! They had 5 I liked as they had numerous choices!! I found the one and the staff was very friendly , knowledgeable and accommodating with my insurance which was in network. My mom was there for an eye exam too and I meet Dr.Cossack and he was wonderful! Very friendly and through w her exam.. she also found her perfect glasses… we both got a designer frame from Coach and are excited about seeing better while looking good! Thank you Pearle Vision Athens we are going to be a regular customer each year!
