I placed an order online in the morning at around 10:30, to have my pizzas delivered at 1:45pm for a kid’s birthday party, with a dozen attendees, and after waiting 15 minutes of not seeing the delivery, I called the store and they said they couldn’t find the driver so all they can do is to outsource DoorDash- who didn’t show up. They said they were going to”re-make” the order, and send them to me (why re-make them if just no driver?) I asked them how they didn’t call me in advance saying they had difficulty delivering, then maybe I would try to have other help to pick them up ourselves, but instead they let me wait 15 minute? The staff on the phone asked me to ask their manager; then I was put on hold for how long, then with the manager, who was very entitled and wasn’t a bit apologetic, asking me what the problem was, I had to repeat my frustration, and the manager told me I could either get either a credit or refund, and that’s “all they could do”. The store is on Baxter Street, Athens, GA. I told them a refund is fine. It’s an awful experience and the manager of that store really needs to learn how to manage the business.

I don’t even know where to start. I ordered a pizza that was supposed to have beef, green peppers, and onions. What I got instead was a sad, pathetic excuse for a pizza: a piece of bread with some cheese on top, and maybe — maybe — if you squint hard enough and dig around like an archaeologist on a dig site, you might find a tiny scrap of beef. This isn’t just a disappointing meal; it’s an insult to anyone who calls themselves a pizza lover. It’s as if Papa John’s decided to play a cruel joke on its customers and see how little topping they can get away with before people riot. The “green peppers”? Nonexistent. The “onions”? MIA. The “beef”? A myth. Instead, I was left with a bland, doughy, overpriced slab of nothingness. Papa John’s, if you can’t deliver what you advertise, maybe it’s time to stop calling it pizza and start calling it what it really is: overpriced cardboard with melted cheese. This was a total waste of money, a total waste of calories, and a total waste of my time. Never again.

I went to just buy a water and I sat there for 15 minutes while they were just talking and some were arguing and staring at me like I wasn’t there. I finally asked if someone could help me and got huffed and puffed at like it was my fault. Also none of them wear gloves and inside is disgusting. Save yourself from possible food poisoning.

I ordered pizza from Baxter street on January 3rd and it was terrible. I called trying to be calm as possible and explain that my pizza was burnt and it tasted terrible. The crust on the bottom was black and that I wanted a refund or a credit for it because it was not eatable!! The uncaring manager on duty “Ryan” night shift manager said that there was nothing he could do and was unbothered by the product he had sold!! I order from there a lot an this was the first time I’ve had an issue but I will not be going back to BAXTER st papa John’s!!!

We ordered some pizzas and wings yesterday and when it was delivered the boxes were dripping with garlic grease. The past few times we've ordered from y'all the garlic cups were upside down in the boxes, when they are upsidedown and start to heat up from the pizza they are more likely to explode (which both garlics did). Our order was also missing a ranch cup that I had ordered. And when we went to eat the pizzas we had to recut them both because they were barely cut and the pizzas were still doughy on top of that so we had to put them in our own oven. The wings are always good (I just wish I had gotten my ranch cup).

Just ordered from Papa John's on Baxter Street, I ordered The Works X-Large thin crust pizza, 6 buffalo wings and 1 papadia. The pizza was not cooked all the way, the crust was thick, not thin, my wings were cold, and the papadia was not cooked all the way through. Of course I took photos. We threw the whole thing out, we were not satisfied at all, couldn't eat it. I don't complain about these things, but the whole order was no good. 😐😕

Domino's used to have the best Pepperoni Pizza back in the day when there was one beside every Blockbuster video. But, they changed their sauce and spices. Now Pappa John's is the Pepperoni king. Thanks for keeping your classic the same!

I went to this place a lot because my daughter loves it but the service is so bad. The people that work here are very rude. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when I showed up to pick up my order that they sent a email saying it was ready I got there and indeed it was not ready then they had the nerve to have a attitude saying your order is not ready yet it will be at least 15 minutes. They weren’t apologetic or anything just rude. I will go all the way on the other side of town to pick up an order because I will never purchase anything from here ever again.
