My Mother moved in to Orchard Athens one year ago. The staff are friendly, professional and very compassionate towards all the residents and have been wonderful to my Mother. The community is beautiful! There are lots of activities and Engagement staff who keep everyone active. My Mother is very content there and we as a family are eternally grateful that we found Orchard.

My wife passed Jan 5, 2024 and I moved into the Orchard on January 8th. Needless to say it was a very emotional time for me. The staff here took me under special care immediately. All of them are people persons who genuinely like you and seem to know what to do to comfort you in your time of need. I can see why The Orchard is number one of assisted care facilities in the area.

My mother moved into Orchard in August 2020. I had heard wonderful things about Orchard communities from a friend in Atlanta. When I heard Athens was getting an Orchard community I was so happy. Orchard has been incredible to my mother and our family. The staff is very professional and warm and engaging too. They have done an amazing job creating a sense of community in such a short time. Orchard at Athens provided an excellent refuge for my Uncle. The employees, especially the administrators, facilitated his transition. Once established in his room ( a spacious, clean and lovely place) he flourished from the care, receiving his medication on time and enjoying healthy meals. Laundry, housekeeping and visits to the barber all worked beautifully. I must comment on the facilities at Orchard, which are bright and pretty spectacular, especially the "Main Street" atrium with the movie theater and scheduled activities. The staff excelled, including Coach Rusty, who helped with everything from IT problems, to serving as tour guide on sight seeing adventures. In the midst of the pandemic, Orchard established clear guidelines to protect their residents, communicating frequently with the families and continuing to run the facility with great efficiency. I was able to rest easy knowing my Uncle was safe, happy and receiving the very best care. We will always be grateful to the staff for their help.

We moved my mother into Orchards at Athens in October of 2020. The staff has done an amazing job thoughout this pandemic to keep them safe and get them vaccinated quickly. The staff and leadership at Athens is amazing and works so hard to keep the residents active and engaged. The staff is just wonderful and I cannot say enough about them. They are very avaialble and quick to respond. It has been so nice during this time of seperation to know how our loved ones are being cared for. We could not be happier with our decision to choose Orchard at Athens.

After being at my wits end about finding my wife in a senior living home with a suitable dementia unit, Orchard Senior Living came to the rescue! The environment At Orchard is quiet, beautiful, and very conducive to to-notch resident care. Each room had a view of a beautiful courtyard, and low, easy listening music provided a relaxing environment. The staff is well-trained and very punctual, and they are very caring insofar as the health and well-being of the residents are concerned.
