I had to leave Oconee Vision for 4 years due to insurance reasons which forced me to have other eye care. The experience of going somewhere else was very dissatisfying. I am so glad that my insurance was effective at Oconee Vision again due to needing to see. It was a great blessing for me and my husband to return to the friendly staff and Dr. Hackleman. Thank you all for a pleasant environment and great service. I have learned my lesson. . . I will never ever go anywhere else. Oconee Vision is my "go to" for the best Dr. in the business and great staff.

I had my eyes examined at Oconee Vision Center and was not satisfied with the glasses I had gotten back. It was not the business but the tint i requested was not up to my expectations. I returned them to the business and they worked with me to get the right color of tint i wanted. Wish they were just a little darker. But in extremely happy with them. The staff, they were very persistent to get the glasses I wanted and I'm happy with them. When it comes next year for an eye exam, I'll be returning to their business to get new glasses if needed. Thank you to the staff to get things right.

I cold-called this practice due to an eyelid infection. Since I would be a new patient, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get a same day appointment, but the staff triaged my need and fit me in. The staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful both on the phone and in person. Dr. Hackleman was personable, friendly, professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and reassuring that they would take care of my current and future eye-care needs. Lovely staff. Always punctual, courteous and kind. I appreciate the new technology and no longer having to do “old school eye 👁 dilation” the new camera technology is fabulous. Dr H is even good with the little things from recommending lid cleansers, allergy drops and even diagnosing and treating eye infection. Dr Hackleman and his staff, come highly recommended by me and my entire family. We have been his clients since the 90’s and very grateful for his dedication to serving the community! I’m especially glad he is in Watkinsville. Easy to get in and out of his very clean office, spacious parking lot, etc.

Dr. Jeff is a smart man with a friendly demeanor. His staff used state of the art devices and checked my vision as well as the health of the interior of my eyes quickly. It turned out I have a problem inside 1 eye that I had no clue about. Dr. Jeff is referring me to a Retinal specialist for long term solutions I felt safe during my check up and trust their findings.
