I am such a huge fan of individually owned book shops and Normal Books meets expectations above and beyond if you ask me. It’s nice to not go to the large chains and while I’m a fan other the other smaller shops in Athens and understand prices have to be competitive to stay in business, sometimes that’s why I think a lot of people resort to buying books online but I hope Normal Books stays here for a long long time because it’s awesome to go in, find something great to read, a gift or just browse and not break the bank. Also, the staff is so great. Thank-you all for being so amazing!

This is the best bookstore in Athens. They have a great selection of books for anyone. American history is stacked with some excellent reads and their literature section is to die for. All their books are new and their prices are always much lower than MSRP. I don't think I've ever paid more than $10 for a book here. If you're a reader, this shop is a must see. If you're local, make sure you stop.in a couple times a month because the selection is always changing.

The best bookstore in town by a longshot. Not only does it have thousands of titles new and used, but the owner and staff (his wife I think) are also very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They are currently rearranging the store, but it is still fairly easy to navigate the store (especially if you ask).

All the books here are priced well. You can get like the whole PJO series for 15 bucks. They even got some Hamilton and DEH books for cheap price. Good place for local authors and the decor is amazing

This is a wonderful new bookstore in normal town! Their prices are unreal... Better than Amazon, which means they’re 10x cheaper than B&N. And the owners are so friendly!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. They had exactly the books I needed and the price was very affordable! I will definitely return and tell friends about the wonderful service.

The prices are a nice surprise but the conversations that can be had there are wonderful. Found a book from a graduate of UGA's Anthropology department where I attended so quite the neat experience.
